One thing I would like to see for Kennedy is for her to develop putting some air under her shot. Way too much Clyde Drexler and not enough Steph Curry in her form.
Not all 5 stars are created equal and she isn't as good as Brink right now, but she was set back by injury. If she can clean up her shots around the rim she can definitely improve, but she is never going to be the fluid athlete that Brink is.

Ok people reality check there is a reason actually many reasons Stanford is #2 and we aren't ranked. They shoot better, rebound better, pass better, handle the ball better, move better, defend better. Be honest we had no chance. The same chance we have of making the dance, ZEROOOOOO. We may end up 10th or 11th or even 12th in the PAC, bummer year, team is totally inconsistent, and cannot make a pass from one player to another. Furd could have won by 40.. There is zero chance of them falling behind Washington for 12th, and almost no possibility of slipping behind Cal for 11th. USC nearly has 10th locked down as well. This post is preposterous. |

Here's a possible path I see: If we beat Cal and split the last two (who are both Quad 1 teams IIRC), then we need to win one in the conf tourney. That would make our quad 1 record 2-10, which isn't good at all, but its better than just ONE win. Our SOS is still in the top 30 and could well get under 25 by then. That leaves us at 16-12 and having a shot. I think 17 wins puts us in for sure.

Things I didn't understand in this game.
Mack basically was just a backup post. Mack has been the second leading scorer for the team and mentioned in an interview that her size advantage at the 3 was partly responsible for this. So after Stanford starts and stays in man to man defense Rueck never really lets her play the 3 to take advantage.
With Stanford in the man to man why wasn't Talia given the ball and told to go crazy. Wilson was racking up the fouls trying to defend Talia on her own. But Talia spent a lot of time standing in the corner being a decoy.
Jump comes into the game and no one guards her at the three line for her first two shots.
Greta and Talia were nailing the 3's in the shootarounds. AJ and Tea were missing 3's in the shootarounds. So how do they end up with about the same total attempts?
