SR had a good run, but his focus on recruiting only size and not taking into account quickness is letting the league pass him by. He’s trying to make SG’s turn into PG’s and it’s finally came back to bite him. |

It has been a brutal schedule the last 6 games, losing 5 of them. I am guessing we need to win 2 out of the last 3 games and at least one in the conference tournament to make the NCAAs. It would also make our win over Oregon look better if they finished strong and somehow beat Stanford.

Defense was pretty bad late. Got shredded down rhe stretch. Of course it didn’t help that Stanford was banking in pull up jumpers.
The game-changer for them was Belibi. They were a different team when she was on the floor. I was surprised Tara didn’t go to her earlier given how well she played against us last time. There were some positives on offense, especially for it being Stanford. Obviously not enough, but some nice contributions from Greta and AJ.

These two teams could play 100times. Stanford would win at least 98. They are not going away either, they return 3 out of their top 4 scorers next season and add the number 1 recruit in the nation. They are the gold standard in the conference right now. |

My thoughts on the last 3 years are if the girl who is 6’9 from Paraguay would have been playing the last three years with the other posts we’d be a top 10 team. We also lost a good point and wing in that time period that was supposed to shore up our depth. Slocom and Goforth. This hurt us a lot. The big girl really cost us in more ways then one. Cuz we lost her scholarship to help us. Not a problem she’s a wonderful person. But you’d think there was a way to pay her education without losing the scholarship Andrea's scholarship is not an issue; we're nowhere near the max. Andrea's class, however, is a bust for us - Morris transferred, Simmons left the team, and Andrea never got to play. Last year's class is also a bust, as both transferred. Very tough when 2 complete classes are like that. Next year will be better. |

Prior to this loss, Charlie Creme had us in as a bubble team. I believe he’s usually pretty accurate as to who is in and who is out. Cal is obviously a must win. Beating both Colorado and Utah on the road would be solid NET wins. |
