16 turnovers - Tea had 5 of them ( not good for a point guard ) TVO had 3 because she forces some passes and dribbles right into here defender . I recall how Sydney Wiese used to dribble with the ball away from the defender ( sideways ) , and then would catch and shoot from the same position. Very unorthodox - but VERY effective . Seems kind of strange to think that Rueck was the one that drove the interest in PAC 12 basketball ( wbb ), and now that has made it tougher for us to compete and win. Now, it's time for us to up our game again ! What? Beavs are going to be in bottom half of P12, I'm thinking 7th or 8th in P12. Playing like they are now, and will almost assuredly lose at least 3 of the next 4, maybe all of them, no way we are going to be in top half. We could fall to 9th or 10th, look who we've lost to, or barely beat. We're heading the wrong direction like a locomotive and the team seems lost or confused way too often. The heralded freshmen aren't playing much and are not performing at anything close to P12 level, we're in trouble. With brings up the inevitable link to transfer portal. After a down year, which we are definitely having, it seems likely there will be some transfers, and they might be some of the starters and freshmen that haven't developed or gotten playing time. Sorry for the rant, just finished watching the UA game and watching us get schooled like grade school kids by a bully. Neutral court somebody said, still same outcome imo.. Faster, and more critically, WAY more aggressive!! We looked like we had no idea what to do!! I certainly expect the Beavs to end up in the bottom half of the Pac-12. Unfortunately, the postponed games this season against teams like Utah and Cal hurt the Beavs chances even more. But, you act like Arizona beat the Beavs by 30. Beavs fell apart in the 4th quarter, but close game until then. Beavs led Arizona in Corvallis before giving the game away at the end (inexperience). As for your comment on 'heralded freshmen aren't playing much', in what world is that accurate? You're two most heralded freshman are starting. Talia is averaging 28.2 mpg. Greta is averaging 23.6mpg. Both of them are averaging more minutes per game than Mik, Kat, Katie, Aleah, or Taylor did their freshman year. The less heralded AJ, is averaging 13.8 minutes which isn't bad for a freshman (especially when you are already starting two freshman). Very highly regarded Payton Verhults for Louisville is only averaging 11.9 minutes per game. Had she chosen the Beavs, she would probably be starting this season, but that's another story.

Sorry, zero correlation to OSU and our frosh. Louisville was #3 last I looked with an outstanding mixture of talent by class.
She didn't come here so there is no way to tell how she would have faired. Just as unknown, if she did come to OSU we'd be younger, someone else wouldn't be playing the minutes they are, or someone currently on the roster wouldn't be here.
But, bottom line there's no way to compare her situation to our frosh. Not even close to similar teams and needs.
Part of OSU's issue is youth and the youngsters having to shoulder too many minutes. Couple that with transfers doing the same in a far more talented league. It was a bad mix from the start and Taylor's injury just magnified it.

I should have said, excepting TVO, who is a rookie, but isn't. Greta, who I have great hope for, is just that, a rookie, and most/many games disappears for looong stretches. Face it, it is a downer year for the team and the fans, nobody likes it, we all certainly expected better.. FTR, I don't like it either... Next year will be critical going forward, supposed great recruits, time will tell, and hopefully, returning experience depending on who leaves.
