Mitrovic is not a D-1 player. She hasn’t the feet or the reflexes that allow her to match up in D-1. She is a liability. I’m sorry to say this but she can’t defend because she can’t slide her feet. She slows the game to much. We could lose this game because of this. I respect her journey but it should be at a different level of college basketball. One man’s opinion. She’s a FRESHMAN. Do your remember how awkward and ineffective Ruth Hamblin was her freshman year?? This is her third year in the program. Her freshman designation needs to come with a big asterisk. How was Hamblin by her third year in Corvallis by comparison? |

Mitrovic was really good in the 4th quarter. Not sure what some of you weren’t seeing. Announcers were even both commenting on how well she was doing

36 minutes today (actual might be 37) for Iron Woman Taya Corosdale. Heart and Soul of 2021-22 Beaver WBB. Again, I only hope that Aleah got to see her buddy (on TV?) shine shine shine.

And she’ll only get better in her 3+ years remaining. |

She is probably the best back-up BIG in the PAC 12. |

UCLA got to within 2 at 53-51 with 4:35 remaining. After that OSU outscored the Bruins 19 to 7 for the 14 point win.
18-20 from the line (for the game) is nice to see too.

My point is saying "she's only a Freshman" is completely disingenuous. |

"Bigs" tend to get into foul trouble (or worse yet, hurt).... ....having her on the team, as a contributor AND as a fantastic rebounder, is all that you can ask for a back-up big. Anyone that doesn't see that is....well  well?.....not sufficiently acquainted with D-1 Women's College basketball. |
