I would like to know how many rebounds the Beavs got off of missed free throws. Quite a few!
Greta hitting the 3"s was nice, but grabbing rebounds was like Mik. We heard that about her, but was good to see. Although I wouldn't call it a great game, was also nice to see Emily being aggressive, and playing hard.
The good news for the Beavs, when one person is not playing well, there is a lot of depth to step in. I was super impressed that Mannion was able to play so many solid minutes. Super happy for her.
Despite some criticism here, I liked Kennedy's game tonight.

Despite some criticism here, I liked Kennedy's game tonight. I did too. Probably just the match up tonight, hopefully in the future we'll see more of Brown and Jones on the floor together.
Yeah, the missed FTs were driving me nuts, but it did allow them to pad their offensive rebounding numbers.
Was bizarre how CBU went from absolutely ice cold from deep in Q3 to couldn't miss in Q4.

That team was well coached ran circles around us Two and half quarters. We are a work in progress right now Not as dominant as we might think. The real tests are coming soon. Go beavs

Kennedy had a couple great assists, impeccable defense, and 5/6 free throws. She shot much better in the 2nd half it seems.

Go beavs I think when all is said and done, Cal Baptist is going to be a team to be reckoned with. Even into the NCAA Tournament. I also think the Beavs are going to mature way passed where we are now.

Interesting stat. Both teams were 28/67 from the floor. How often does that happen?
Difference was from the foul line OSU 14/23 CBU 2/4

Greta really reminds me of Mik, she is a real ball kawk.
Taya showed one again why she plays a lot of minutes.
Kennedy had a solid game in my opinion.
Those three on the court at the same time shows a potential to dominate defensively.
We found out that Mannon is the third point guard. Even against seriously quick guards she held her own. Started tentative but after a couple possessions she looked like a point guard. I didn't see where she was a liability. This must be who Destiny and Aleah talked about.
Jones is an animal on offense. Against a shorter team you can just feed her, they foul or she makes the shot.
Talia is going to be a joy to watch develop, she is going to be great.
Ellie is a true BEAVER! She has fully embraced the team as hers and is showing leadership. Last year was so screwed up In really happy that she gets this chance.

I read this board quite a bit, and maybe it's just the way grad1973 said it, but I don't know anybody here who consider the Beavs 'dominant' or thought they would be yet. I think many of us hope the Beavs will be very strong late in the season when the freshman have grown, the transfers begin to fit in, and the team gets accustomed to playing together. At least that is how I feel. I think this early in the season is much the same as last year, where the Beavs will lose if they don't play hard. They were definitely out hustled in the first quarter in particular.

Difference was from the foul line OSU 14/23 CBU 2/4 That and rebounding - 49 to 25 overall, and 16 to 2 on the offensive end. Offensively, Greta looked lost in the first half. The put back of her own miss and the corner 3 right after that got her going, and then she was very good. She needed to get a game like this under her belt; glad she did it early. Jelena got yanked for losing track of the fact she's a 5, and never got back in the game. Small crowd tonight, and parking passes won't work Saturday because of the football game. Imagine that will cause the crowd to be smaller yet. As the season progresses, this game could help our RPI; that's a good basketball team.

I thought Kennedy was the best player on the Beavers tonight, the key to the 3rd Q turnaround.

Not real happy with the way that OSU reminded us about our parking passes. That lacked class. I also noted that Scott Barnes was in attendance. I hope he took notice of the boo's. For those of that travel an hour to see the team, it would be nice if OSU would open up the fairgrounds shuttle early for those of us who support women's basketball and donate to Our Beaver Nation through our parking passes. Go Beavs (all Beavs)!

Definitely a work in progress in that phase. Although OSU hit some big shots and had a great 3rd qtr, I thought the difference in the game was the more mobile, athletic lineup. Switching to an aggressive m2m really threw CBU off... 0-10 on 3s. And, KB was the key to having a more mobile big that can guard all over the floor.

I thought Kennedy was the best player on the Beavers tonight, the key to the 3rd Q turnaround. I thought it rotated... TO in the 1st half, then "Kamp" in the 3rd on offense, KB in allowing the m2m to exert pressure in the 3rd.
