This team may actually test us!........This note from @nickdaschel: "Sneaky good women's basketball game Wednesday night at Gill: Cal Baptist-Oregon State.
CBU moved from D-II to D-1 last year, but ineligible for NCAA tournament. They won the WAC regular season and tournament and had a 26-game winning streak. Return 98 percent of their minutes."

Their PG led the nation in assists last season. She got injured right at the end of the year, certainly that hurt them in the NIT.

Certainly Scott will be guarding against his team thinking all they have to do is put on their uniforms and they win - but the WAC ain't the PAC. I don't think they'll try to take it inside much; they've seen the LMU tape. But I'd guess they'd need to hit some silly number like 18 for 30 3's, and force 20 turnovers to beat us.

A couple great interviews, thanks for posting them.
I really liked Rueck's comment that last year Talia was Aleah's sidekick. There is a picture of them where Aleah had her arm around her and she is leaning into it, one of my favorite pics. I have a feeling that Aleah spent a lot of time helping Talia out and getting her up to speed.

Hearing more and more about this CBU team, I decided to research them. SR spoke so highly of them in that interview, and their record is impressive last year plus returning most everyone from last year. I just noticed, with the one game this year so far, a win, they are 28 in a row, regular season, it's a shame to see that broken, but who better to do it than OSU.
