Coaching...I am perplexed!!!! Are we trying to win this college game, or are we waiting for the three-run homer like a pro game?? Two innings in a row, runners 1st and 2nd, no outs........ZERO effort to move a runner....equals ZERO runs..... I guess this is Beaver Baseball now??? I was a bit perplexed with no bunt to move the runners.....Casey would have but MC still needs to learn how I agree about the lack of bunting. Runners on 1st and 2nd, no outs? Why is that not a bunting situation, especially when you are struggling to get hits? If they had bunted in the 6th with no outs, a run would have later scored. We are a good team this year, but not yet a great team. If the Zags host as the #16 National Seed, and we get sent there, we could win that Regional. Not likely if we get sent anywhere else. |

As far as Armstrong bunting, Andy is a terrible, terrible bunter. He has had 2 very big bunts in his career, and he is an outstanding shortstop, but Andy is not a good bunter.

these tough games against quality opponents, even in losses, can help us in the postseason, at least in a regional Rhe way we do against solid squads means that we are 0 and 2......barbecue English? |

How about this team line for the game....4 for 26 at the plate....1-10 with runners on.....0-10 with runners in scoring position...1-8 with two out. OUCH!!!!! Won't win any games with that line. Small wonder why the team is struggling the last ten. The other games must have been similar .
