Are we trying to win this college game, or are we waiting for the three-run homer like a pro game??
Two innings in a row, runners 1st and 2nd, no outs........ZERO effort to move a runner....equals ZERO runs.....
I guess this is Beaver Baseball now???

So, we should decline our postseason invite? And I don’t know what HS team you’re looking at, but that’s just a stupid comparison. 2 hits against a less than unhittable pitcher? Says a lot, certainly compared to most playoff teams that I see. I can't watch, but I'm not hearing anything that tells me we're going to break through and win a game from the trees. It's been questionable for a few weeks, and SEEMS to be going the wrong way fast. As far as mediocre hs teams hitting, looks like that is where we're at, sadly. It gives me no satisfaction at all and I'm not hapoy to say it. So what mediocre HS team should we schedule? We would beat any HS team 20+-0. Exaggerate much? Big difference between any HS team and any level of college ball, let alone D1. |

When you are down three, playing small ball to get one run does not make sense. |

My take is that the Pac will try to guarantee that Stanford gets this series to ensure they host. Zona and UO are locks but Stanford needs to win this series to host. Any other Pac team is on the road

I too would like to see us bunt with two on and no outs. Down 3-0,if you get a run or two,it's far easier later to come from behind down one run versus three with three innings to go. You put no pressure on the defense hitting away versus moving runners into scoring position and a base hit scores two cutting the lead to one. This is the college game Mitch...not the three run homer pro game. Maybe that's why we have scored 0 runs in 15 innings this weekend. Gotta break the ice somehow....smh
Doesnt matter about getting experience which will help the players in 2021 if we don't get into the tournament. We are fading fast....
