So far getting outhit 7 to 2. Unless our bats develop a better rhythm, our regional will be a quick merciful death. Mediocre pitching and hitting won’t get us very far

Well, D1 Baseball says we're a shoe in, so I suppose they're wearing those glasses as well? If it happens its not based on performance. An RPI of 23 and not losing a series to a team who won't make the tournament field is performance |

Almost starting to hope the beavers don’t get into a regional. I don’t like it when teams get in based on program reputation and not whether the current team is deserving

Almost starting to hope the beavers don’t get into a regional. I don’t like it when teams get in based on program reputation and not whether the current team is deserving We aren’t going to get into the postseason based on reputation along. Don’t you remember UW keeping us out a few years back? |

Post season? Where, were looking like a mediocre hs team, can't hit a lick is not worthy of any post season that I know of. Disappointing to say the least. So, we should decline our postseason invite? And I don’t know what HS team you’re looking at, but that’s just a stupid comparison. 2 hits against a less than unhittable pitcher? Says a lot, certainly compared to most playoff teams that I see. I can't watch, but I'm not hearing anything that tells me we're going to break through and win a game from the trees. It's been questionable for a few weeks, and SEEMS to be going the wrong way fast. As far as mediocre hs teams hitting, looks like that is where we're at, sadly. It gives me no satisfaction at all and I'm not hapoy to say it. |

I don’t make excuses for the team. Beck pitched a helluva game, just as Abel did. One hit difference between the win and the loss. Anyway you look at it, yesterday was a great game. Tonight, the game isn’t over. I’ll judge it after it’s in the books. |
