2 hits against a less than unhittable pitcher? Says a lot, certainly compared to most playoff teams that I see. I can't watch, but I'm not hearing anything that tells me we're going to break through and win a game from the trees. It's been questionable for a few weeks, and SEEMS to be going the wrong way fast. As far as mediocre hs teams hitting, looks like that is where we're at, sadly. It gives me no satisfaction at all and I'm not hapoy to say it. So what mediocre HS team should we schedule? We would beat any HS team 20+-0. Exaggerate much? Big difference between any HS team and any level of college ball, let alone D1. What post season invite? Did I miss that we actually have one? Denial is not a river, but go ahead and by your tickets. None of us are happy with the obvious decline this season and last. Most are willing to call it what it is, and it's depressing 🙃 |

Coaching...I am perplexed!!!! Are we trying to win this college game, or are we waiting for the three-run homer like a pro game?? Two innings in a row, runners 1st and 2nd, no outs........ZERO effort to move a runner....equals ZERO runs..... I guess this is Beaver Baseball now??? When you are down three, playing small ball to get one run does not make sense. I could see it if it was late in the game but it wasn't. Getting closer would have been nice even though it was only one run in each instance. If they would have gotten one run in each inning it would have been a one run game. Better than 3-0. |

I was a bit perplexed with no bunt to move the runners.....Casey would have but MC still needs to learn how Perhaps MC thought leaving runners stranded on 2nd and 3rd is no different than leaving them stranded on 1st and 2nd. |

Totally disagree. - small ball puts pressure on the infielders, the pitcher and the catcher ! Loy's of good things can happen versus the swinging or looking K - which seems to be the play of the day , lately !

When you are down three, playing small ball to get one run does not make sense. The people wanting us to play small ball are the same people who have been railing on the pitching. The bullpen has not pitched well enough to try and win this 4-3. You have to play for a big inning. I think folks should be more disappointed in the terrible at bats by Ober and Armstrong in their respected innings. |

Beavs had that hit and run figured out! Nice pick off.
And a great play by Dukart at third to boot! Just need to start hitting! I think they should be much more aggressive at the plate. What they’re doing certainly isn’t working.
