My concern with rueck is he seems to be a little of a control freak. Constantly last year the point guards were looking at the bench as they dribbled up the court. A point guard wants to lead, run the show. An offense should be able to run its motion without a coach in my opinion slowing things down. Slocum would have probably stayed had rueck loosened the reins.

No one said they were bad or not very good but are the as good as some as Scott's better teams. Not even close! ..... And they are upper pac-12 this year. Make you a gentlemens bet that Arizona won't make it to the elite 8 this year. Maybe what you meant to point out is just how bad we are. We are staring at a 9th or 10th place finish when all is said and done
Just pointing out how bad our team is. Think SR has over recruited size at the expense of quickness. He needs to adapt.
And some schools like Notre Dame think they recruited not enough size over quickness. It is a balancing act.

I also think the game has changed to be much more physical in nature. The more physical teams have the upper hand this year. Refs are letting the type of play be the norm.
