IMO we have some more wins in us this year. I think in the last couple of years we did not recruit well enough to stay at or near the top of the conference. However, I am hoping that the 21 and 22 classes will get us back completing for the conference title.

We must not be watching the same games because I'd even put Jamie's athleticism ahead of Mikayla's. Pac-12 WBB POY in 2016. Yeah, Jamie was quick w/ some decent hops. She was a really good rebounder for her size. Not sure how somebody saw her as unathletic. If Jamie Weisner is not an “elite athlete” then OSU WBB has never had an “elite athlete”. |

My concern with rueck is he seems to be a little of a control freak. Constantly last year the point guards were looking at the bench as they dribbled up the court. A point guard wants to lead, run the show. An offense should be able to run its motion without a coach in my opinion slowing things down. Slocum would have probably stayed had rueck loosened the reins.

We have a lot of players who would be great at the 3/4 positions playing the 1/2 positions, unfortunately. I don’t necessarily think a lack of athletes is an issue (or else Rueck’s teams would always finish at the bottom), but I do think a lack of creators is. Aside from Goodman, everyone’s ball handling seems shaky (Goforth’s is probably the second best). While Mikayla and Destiny were exceptional athletes, Jaime and Syd were not (at least IMO). Teams make it difficult to get it inside to Jones, so she doesn’t get enough FGA. On the plus side, I think/hope Greta and Talia will be better creators, so those two should be big boosts. Totally agree that it would be nice to get an Aari McDonald/Kiana Williams type PG, but Rueck seems to have given up on recruiting them. If Goodman is the 'best' ball handler they have, the 2021 Beav WBB will simply not be able to compete in the PAC12. I think we're down to a near-miracle in which T.v.O. (by rights, a high school senior) comes in and provides the needed zip. |

How much more PT do you think she merited? Just another example of SR poor recruiting. Why isn’t a JUNIOR getting more then 7 minutes?! |

No Subasic today. Is she injured, or just coaches decision? I'm kinda feeling bad for her, doesn't seem to have a role w/ OSU, maybe made a bad choice on where to grad transfer to. I would be surprised if it was a coach's decision since Rueck was scuffling up and down the bench looking for answers on both ends of the floor. I would guess he would have given Subasic at least a few minutes if she were available to see if she could hit a 3 or match some of Arizona's physicality. I'm surprised no one has mentioned how Sasha looked today. Even at the opening tip I noticed that she looked under the weather (downright sick, to be honest). And then I noticed that one knee was wrapped (I believe it was her left knee - you can check the replay). I'm pretty sure she hasn't had either knee wrapped all season. Whether she was dealing with one or multiple issues, she didn't move at all like she did before the break and even had an awkward slip or buckle at one point in the game. I hope she can return to full health soon. |

Remind me.... was that class of 18 simmons and AA only? And Patricia Morris. I’m not sure who all we recruited. I know Rae Burrell and Sedona Prince. Those are the types of classes Rueck will need to avoid in the future to ensure that an unexpected situation (a la Destiny) doesn’t have this type of impact. |

Does double A travel with the team? Saw her on the sidelines today. Wait we have 12 people on this team that can shoot from three point land. That is probably true however Rueck hasn't figured out how to use it. |

Saw her on the sidelines today. Wait we have 12 people on this team that can shoot from three point land. That is probably true however Rueck hasn't figured out how to use it. We could have 30 players that can shoot 3’s and it wouldn’t matter. When you can’t rebound or defend the 3 point line, you’re not going to beat anyone. |
