Did Leach just let out a sigh of relief? Just the opposite. Lake is the one who talks s#%& about Leach every Apple Cup. And backs it up.

Sounds like he needed a change. It's become a full time PLUS job at the D1 level. I don't want to put words in his mouth, but maybe he just had ENOUGH! I respect him for that. ESPN: Wore out. www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/28212034/chris-petersen-steps-washington-jimmy-lake-named-head-coach"A source close to Petersen told ESPN's Adam Rittenberg that the 55-year-old is healthy and has no family issues. The season really wore on him, the source said, and he needed a chance to step away and recharge. Peterson will be in an administrative role working with leadership development for coaches and players." From the article

Sounds like a Pat Casey kind of move. Not taking a HC job at another institution, just moving into the head office, as it were. Really do not expect CP to stay in that role for too long - we shall see
