So what. Are You just anal or what? You are rude and apparently can't show kindness or restraint. For a Beaver Fan I am very disappointed in Your Negative jibberish. It has nothing to do with rudeness or kindness. The man is a basketball coach and supposed to be a leader & mentor to young women. If he is distorting his credentials/resume, that is a concerning thing with the position that he is in. It is not negative jibberish.

Sure generated a lot of dialogue for a "rumor" about Evina Westbrook transferring schools.

This is an ignorant and inappropriate thread. Please, everyone cool down and try to understand we are talking about under 21 (in most cases) students in these cases. Their decisions are not always correct, but we should not try to make them for them. That is the job of their mentors and parents...

Aleah must be the most overlooked recruit in women's basketball history. Every game she has played she's looked like the best player on the court. At this point I will say she's the player in the team. The Tres Tinkle of the women's team. Maybe better. The beauty of this season's Beavers women's basketball team is that different players have stepped up at different times and it is not simply about limiting one OSU player in order to get a win over the Beavers. I understand blastingsand's enthusiasm above for Goodman's outstanding play of late, but it would appear that he/she has a short memory. Goodman struggled with her shot and getting significant minutes out of the gate this season. Her performances against Cal Poly, Duke, CSU-Baskersfield, the first WSU and UW games, Arizona, Arizona State, and Stanford are not consistent with what blastingsand has written above. If you need a refresher on how each player has played in all 28 games this season, you can access all of this season's box scores using the following link: static.osubeavers.com/custompages/WBB/teamcume.htm?path=wbball&path=wbballFollowing perhaps her worst performance (0/7 from the field with no points scored and 4 turnovers) of the season against Stanford, Goodman has been very clutch in important game situations of late. She didn't shoot well (3/12 from the floor) during the recent home win over USC on February 22, but Goodman did hit an important three-pointer down the stretch to provide some much-needed separation in that game. My purpose with this post is to point out that expressing "best player" opinions isn't really productive in an environment in which the bottom line goal is the team winning, Every one of us has an opinion as to the relative value of the contributions made by the OSU players. Some posters tend to have shorter memories than others. Aleah is the best player on the team and key to winning a national title. Completely outplays great players. Yeah it doesn't mean she is perfect every game, but there is no one more important than her in the team right now. Pac-12 POY next year. Could be better than Wiesner and Wiese when her career finishes.

Yikes. Evina got bold after Tennessee’s first round loss to UCLA.

But there is a difference in a players potential upside and the level they are currently at. I also believe Aleah has a huge upside left and very well could be better than Wiese at the next level basically because she has a higher arch on her shot, which handycaps Wiese at her present level. The thing with Aleah at present is her inconsistency. Every player has off shooting days, but Aleah is also inconsistent in respect to her decision making. Of course she is still a sophomore and both the offensive and defensive transition this team has undergone this season might be a part of that. As to who is the best player it depends on what we mean by best player. Are we talking about importance to and what they bring to this team, or how high they will be valued at the next level? Does it really matter at this time? We might want to praise a player and bring attention to what they bring to a team, but comparing one player to the other to say one is better is unproductive and usually results in the devaluation of another teammate.

Aleah is a very skilled player, but she is not quick enough to play in the WNBA. This is the same issue that Wiese has and it is why she doesn’t play much. Aleah is the women’s version of Tres Tinkle. And I’m not “devaluing” anyone by saying that Mik is the best and most valuable player on this team. These are college athletes, not 5 year olds who might get their feelings hurt by posts on a message board.

Mik is our best player. Destiny is our most talented player with the best upside. Kat was on her way to 6th player of the year before her injury. Aleah is Jeff Stout when shes on she is good when not she is average. Judge is right Aleahs lack of quickness and speed limits her upside. There is a good chance she never starts at Oregon State depending on next years recruiting class. Nothing wrong with being a good player not a great player.

Westbrooks sounds like a coach-killer. Talented, but with lots of checked and carry-on baggage.

Westbrooks sounds like a coach-killer. Talented, but with lots of checked and carry-on baggage. I do agree, but many Tennessee fans were thrilled to hear Westbrook say that. Their coach is not good...at all. 6 McDonald’s All-Americans and they barely made the tourney. I think her comments may have been a little out of line, but many of us don’t really understand what is going on over at Tennessee. She is also being used as a PG, and she isn’t a PG. Sort of like Mik last season. I hope she leaves Tennessee, and wouldn’t want to see her anywhere in the Pac except OSU.

If Sabrina declares she might well go to Oregon. They would lose both of their guards. She might go there even if Sabrina stays. They played on the same AAU team ( as did Kat ).

Whether Sabrina stays or leaves shouldn't influence her decision. If she transfers, she sits out a year. Sabrina is currently a junior, so she will have ridden off into the sunset before Westbrook could take the court for Oregon. Ditto Tudor if she came to Oregon State.
