I wonder when the visits are planned. Some interesting matchups in the next couple of weeks.
Next weekend we are away and asu hosts the bay area schools.
The weekend after we are at home playing the Arizona schools.

Curious, any idea when she visited Rutgers? Is she actually visiting each school on weekends, and flying back to Serbia? Is she playing any organized basketball at the moment? That would be extremely difficult to work a schedule around that and take visits.

She is taking official visits to all four schools, so unless any of the others went unreported, she still has to visit Arizona State, Rutgers, and Corvallis. Not sure which weekend she will be visiting OSU. Would be interesting to have Mitrovic, Aquino, Jones, and Brown all in the 2019 class, but she does look like a good prospect. Has an impressive build and strong frame for a 6'9" 17 y/o female. Someone identified as DaBball on The Boneyard reported this yesterday: "2019 6'9" C Jelena Mitrovic from Serbia has already visited Rutgers and Iowa and has remaining visits to Oregon State and Arizona State." Since she was at OSU today, she only has AZ left to visit. |

Good chance she is just taking all 4 visits during one trip over from Serbia. Not sure when she will make her decision.

I figured she would make all her visits within days instead of returning home after each visit. Glad she made it to OSU. I don't think she will find a better atmosphere.

Was it Jelena? 6’9” is tough to miss. Yes, that was her,next to her mother, father, and sister I figured it was. I sometimes wonder who often some of these visits take place that we don’t know about. For example unless it was for beaverhoopsfan, we would have had no idea that Caitlin Clark visited. Thankfully Sasha Goforth posted a picture and bubba has some type of a mutual connection to her or else hers would have also gone unreported. |

One could imagine she and her family will be at ASU this Friday to watch the Sundevils play Stanford at home or Sunday when Cal comes there. Bad news is ASU should have a good crowd for Stanford. Let's hope Stanford wins at Tempe to dampen any enthusiasm she might gain for ASU! Maybe she hangs around Corvallis/OSU a couple more days and falls in love with the place before moving on to Tempe!
Also, ASU already has TWO commits for 2020, a forward and a post (Katelyn Levings from Ok and Keeli Burton from Wa). Both are 6'3". Beavs have no commits yet for 2020. Yes, I realize Jelena is a 2019 recruit, but she will face competition at ASU for playing time, just like she would at OSU. |
