Here is an updated 2021 recruiting chart (click to enlarge): Definitely appears Verhulst is the top target, and Kampschroeder and Wolfenbarger are right behind. von Oelhoffen and O'Grady are players that appear to have been followed by the staff on social media, but I'm not sure how serious of a target they are. Walker and Washington have both visited, but not sure their statuses either. Thank you for the summary/update on Oregon State targets for 2021. I notice that there is no top 20, top 40 or even top 100 point guard on the list. This has me a bit concerned because it seems to put too much weight or at least a lot of marbles/big roll of the dice on getting Hailey Van Lith in 2020. Hailey or bust? But, maybe the 3 point guards on the list are much better than "NR" would suggest.

newduke2, if the Beavs land Verhulst, you don't have to worry about a point guard. She can handle that roll just fine (well, way better than fine).
beaverwbb fan, thanks for posting the chart. When did/is Kelbie Washington actually visit, because August 12th 2019 hasn't happened yet, but I do remember something about her being in town a while back.

But, maybe the 3 point guards on the list are much better than "NR" would suggest. A few things -- from my POV: 1) Jersey Wolfenbarger is listed as a combo-guard. Due to her handle, size, and skill -- she can play the PG, SG, and W, and you'll see different services list her at different positions (I've also seen her height listed at 6'1 - 6'3). For the Banshees, she and Sasha actually play a little out of position because Kelbie Washington is their starting PG and another player starts at the two, so Sasha and Jersey play a position down. 2) There could certainly be a PG-target in 2020 or 2021 that we just don't know about yet. If we don't land Van Lith -- we are basically giving the keys to a 2021 to step in and play PG as a freshman (barring a grad-transfer/immediately eligible transfer). That doesn't happen much on a perennial contending team, so I would think it would intrigue a few players. 3) Rueck has a vision for another recruit to play PG. Perhaps, as newduke2 mentioned, Rueck has a plan for Verhulst to step in and play PG -- as she has been listed a combo-guard in the past. Kampschroeder also has some really solid play-making/passing ability from what I've seen, so maybe he sees a PG-role in her future. Syd was a solid PG at the college level, but is a SG in the pros, so it wouldn't be totally shocking to see Rueck have that plan.

I thought the visit from Kelbie may have been last summer.
I think Jersey may have the most upside of any of the players on your list, but I also think she may be the most difficult to land. She is getting offers galore, that's for sure. I see Baylor has now offered her.
It wouldn't shock me at all to see both Greta and Payton end up with the Beavs. I see that Brian H is now friends with Greta's mom on twitter (already friends with her Dad). Having a backcourt/wings of Sasha, Greta, and Payton, would sure make the Beavs tough to handle for years to come.
As beaverwbb said, there may still be some 2020 PG's that may be targeted by the Beavs. I know a couple that they have at least showed interest in. We should also keep in mind that finding a graduate transfer (or a transfer in general) is also quite possible for the 2021 season.

Jersey Wolfenbarger has visited both Texas and Baylor over the past few days -- we can only hope OSU is getting a visit soon!

It would be great to have Jersey visit this summer. It would really be nice to have some girls visit while the team is practicing for the Italy trip. Jersey has plenty of offers rolling in. One positive note would be that she retweeted a post by Scott Rueck a couple days ago. Just trying to skim any positive note I can find.....

There is a ton of quality competition for Jersey Wolfenbarger. Reportedly she had 30 offers as July 21, with several added since...so I'd say 33 to 35 by now. After a quick view of her twitter page and the article below, I found these 29 schools have offered her (most recent first): Oregon State, Baylor, NC State, LSU, Penn State, Washington, North Carolina, Florida State, Arizona State, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Tennessee, Texas Tech, Rutgers, TCU, Texas A&M, Mississippi State, Missouri, Colorado, Texas, Providence, Arkansas-Little Rock, Louisville, Oklahoma State, Florida. Arkansas was the first school to offer her. Two other schools are Connecticut and Ole Miss. Still missing a few I think. Much like with Sasha, Arkansas will likely be a very tough out with Jersey -- plus the entire SEC, all of Texas, and a lot of the Pac-12. I know we were one of the later schools to offer her, but Coach Holsinger was at a HS game on 2/28, so she has been on the radar for a long time, well before she blew up.

As beaverwbb said, the good news is that the Beavs have been recruiting her for quite some time now, and she does have a relationship with BH and the Beavs staff. Obviously though, she has TONS of options. I love her "take every shot like it's the last shot of the game" attitude, her work ethic, and of course, her talent. Whoever lands her is getting a real star!
