Totally forgot today is the opening day of National LOI period.....
It seems like in every other year we have been far more aware of this...
At any rate, it will create a little uptick in our spirits to see two impressive signatures in a day or two, or three.....
Still don't know why we haven't seen a Pac-12 WBB schedule.....

On paper, Greta's team starts its season Dec 1, Talia's team hasn't posted its schedule yet, that I can find.

Unfortunately the Beav's don't need more 5/4's. Guards/Wings in 2021, but not 5's. Although two of the peeps they seem to be looking at are 5's. Seems like 4 posts should be enough. Who are the two you are speaking of? I have an idea of who one may be. Is it Lauren Betts? |

Updates on when Talia and Greta may, or may not, be playing basketball again. -- This article notes that Talia's season is delayed until at least February: " With the upcoming season delayed until at least February, SBLive Washington is releasing its preseason rankings of the Top 50 girls basketball teams in the state, regardless of classification." -- This article notes that Greta's season's start date is still TBD, but likely spring: " The Illinois High School Association held its regularly scheduled board meeting on Monday. The organization announced that the start date for winter sports is still to be determined, but did provide a timeline for when more specific information may become available.
Pritzker said in October that medium- and high-risk sports like basketball and football wouldn’t be allowed until spring.The IHSA attempted to plow forward and play basketball as scheduled in late November. I noticed that Ally VanTimmeren is going to enroll early at Boston College because of uncertainty of her high school playing this season. Was also reading today about numerous High School teams not playing until February or later. I wonder how many other players may decide to go ahead and enroll in college early this year? I haven't heard of any other than Ally.

Interesting bobbk, wow, it's starting to steam roll, we will hear about the big names, ya wonder how many others have done it, will do it. It's still only dec, but for schools on a semester system, I guess it has to happen now. If a players wants to participate in the current season, it has to happen now also. It may go quiet with another batch happening before spring quarter for the other schools like OSU.

This is an interesting one. I’ve noticed that our program is now following Makenna Brandner on Instagram. Don’t know much about her, but she’s a 6’0 guard out of Pasco, WA. You guessed it- she played high school ball and is close friends with TVO. She’s an uncommitted 2021 and I’m not sure how many (if any) scholarship offers she holds from other schools. But it seems possible that we could be trying to add to the roster before next season begins.
