Not her first win in the 1:1 format ( 1v1 win a year ago) I personally don't know how what to read into 1:1 skills. I know it takes a huge competitive drive for sure, and you have to be really efficient. However, it doesn't necessarily translate well to the team game because help defense will take away lots of what you can get away with in 1v1. But her rankings are going to be related to what she does overall against this competition, and clearly she rises to the occasion. I too has been puzzled by her available HS film, it just doesn't seem to match ups with a player that goes out and dominates in these types of events. Fortunately, I'm not recruiting for OSU! My best guess at this point is that we'll have a player that is super crafty on offense, and possibly the type of box-score filler that gets done relatively quietly.

Some highlights of Talia's 1v1, who really seemed to impress this weekend:

Threes aren't generally a great strategy in 1v1 (although not sure their exact rules), but seems she spotted up plenty and consistently knocked them down, so that's very good to see.

That is kind of funny because your avatar came in 2nd place on the one on one tournament they had for rookies in the NBA. I hope she turns out as well as he did

Looks like the coaches have some fine clay to mold in 2021.

Thanks beaverwbb fan for the info on Greta, was wondering about how she did given all the hype Talia got (and deservedly so), Greta is so consistently solid at all parts of her game !

Thanks for posting y'all! Have I told you how excited I am to see Sasha, Talia, and Greta play together?! Add the possibility of Taylor, Kennedy, and Jelena up front early in their career, and Adlee and Raegan coming along in 2022. I'm liking what the coaches are doing!
