OSU is presently a top 3 choice for ESPN #8 2020 overall Sasha Goforth. OSU coaches have been recruiting her hard with multiple visits to Arkansas and regularly watching her play on the EYBL circuit. And she is very high on the Beavers, in large part because of the relationship with the coaches, even though it doesn't seem like an obvious choice for her. You heard it here first (just thought you Beavers fans would like to know).

Thanks for coming to this board to let beaver WBB fans know. It was reported here about a year ago that she was offered by Oregon State. According to ESPNW, the list of schools she was/is considering did/does not include Oregon State, so hopefully you are right and they are just out of date. Sounds like promising, brand new information! Did she post or describe her final 3 list anywhere yet?

I imagine Mike Neighbours from U Arkansas is putting on the full court press for her signature...
It would be great for the Razorbacks to land a local star...
Neighbors is slowly but surely adding talent to his roster, including a recent 5* transfer from TCU...
Arkansas produced the #1 h.s. player this year...But she got away..UCONN.....Figures...
It's hard to take the Arkansas out of the girl, so she may end up back in Fayetteville about the time Goforth is a frosh.......

Wahooo, add her in with Brink and Van Lith and we have a really decent class coming up. And for all those who want to bring me back to reality....please don't, I don't need those negative vibs. Anyway, what nick name are we going to give the three of them? Has to be cool, short so it fits on a shirt. The three Amigas? "Watch out or the Brgovl will get you" Bah, too long for a shirt. Come on peeps, we need this ready for when they show up on campus!! (shooooo reality, go AWAY).

Watching some film on her, I think we are easily the best fit for this girl. Has some similarities with Tudor, in terms of size and shooting ability, but may have a little more upside and better finisher. Hope we can get her!

Lots of stiff competition our coaches will have to beat out to see Ms. Goforth in Beaver Orange. We are I believe the only west coast team on that list, which could be a con if she isn’t willing to go far. But program-wise I think we are a top 3 fit. See a lot of similarities in her and Kat’s game. She could fill in the wing once Kat leaves!

I count 22 teams on that graphic...she's got a lot of narrowing down to do, but she has up to 1 and a half years to do so. Looks like Colorado is the only other Pac-12 team on the "list". A lot of her focus is on SEC schools (9).

Ahh, that is very good news! You reported a while back that we were currently a top 3 for her...does that still hold true as far as you are aware? Always exciting to have someone with ties to the recruit. No doubt a good sign that she is traveling from Fayetteville, Arkansas to Corvallis. Based off past posts of hers, does not seem that tsdtr will be getting a visit too. As a player, she will help out with the void going to be left by Tudor and McWilliams. A long agile guard who can shoot the 3, but also handles the ball. She also defended Haikey Van Lith in their AAU game which makes me think she can defend. She may be hard to pull out of SEC land, especially Arkansas with coach Neighbors, but just based off her evaluations... it sounds to me she’d fit in terrifically here. Plus, we just pulled one from Kansas and Texas, so why not Arkansas! This may be one of those prospects that we reached out to so early that the relationships the staff has had time to develop will be a huge help. She also just received an offer from UCLA yesterday. Based off this, she is clearly a highly touted prospect: Recent Interest in Goforth. |
