This really messes up Henry's rpi calculations if this end in a tie. I meant Wilky's Rpi calculations. Lol.

Looks like thunderstorms moving into the area and they would not be able to get the game restarted for a few hours easily and that's too late on a Sunday.

RPI wise, not a big deal at all...but hurts decently bad in Pac-12 standings as now basically 3 games out from Stanford....had a feeling we were going to score there once Kwan got a bunt down

“Weak” though it may be. After the 1st inning shenanigans, I’ll take it! Congrats to Jake M. and Kevin Abel! And congrats to Beavs for battling back. There’s big hope come from today’s game

If lightning is striking within 5 miles that means it can strike within 5 feet without warning so I'd rather play it safe and have our team alive for the playoffs and not dead for the sake of trying to get one more run.

Mike and his wife drove up from C-town

This is baseball, not soccer. We don't end games in ties. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Ah oh well, the important thing is that the beavers won the series, and put up a hell of a rally to get back in the game after that first inning. If I had to guess, WSU is probably taking this result harder than OSU. Big early lead erased, and missed on a chance to walk it off.
Now bring on that pretend team. Who do the beavers start for that game?

We were going to have to sweep Stanford to win the league, the tie does not change anything.

Looking at it from a Coug perspective (missed opportunities) really points out how GREAT Mulholland was. Twice - 7th inning and 9th inning, Cougs best hitter (by far) Clanton came up with a runner in scoring position and only 1 out, and game tied. In neither case did Mulholland allow any hits or runs.
