T4 Madrigal BB Larnach dinks a ball right over top of 3B lands just fair. Madrigal scores. Larnach at 2B that was a metal bat hit. Not well struck. Rutsch BB men on 1st & 2nd no outs Mound visit McFadden has only pitched 17+ innings on the year before moving to the rotation. Stamina may be in play Gretler ball to backstop and runners move up to 2nd & 3rd Gretler Kc pitching change McFadden out Block in. He's a lefty Malone K swing 2 out Nobach battling fouling off pitches/swings and misses for a K Probably about 12 pitches end of 3.5 Beavs 1 Cougs 5 I was surprised we didn't bring in a RH batter to face Block for Malone. Preston Jones seems like he would have been an option. SaveSaveThat was my thoughts at the time. Casey might look back and wish he had brought in a pinch hitter. Beavers really needed to capitalize on the 2nd and 3rd and no outs. On another note, Gambrell starting on the mound was a head scratcher to me. He has had a bad time of late on the mound

Bright side, even if there’s no comeback: Beavs will have gone 3-1 on the week and have hopefully put to bed the quandary over who our Sunday pitcher is isn't. Score: down 1-5 thru 4 innings.

Score: down 1-5 thru 4 innings. another bright side: stress testing the middle relievers to find the mettle. Abel and Pierce have looked very solid. Last year the middle relievers rusted away in the bullpen- message interrupt: LARNACH YARD!

Gambrell threw 15 innings 2017, now he's at 55 this year.
You have to have patience with young pitchers.
Pac12 ball isn't a video game.

If we don't win the conference title, it will be because of ridiculous losses to awful Utah and WSU teams.

Walker is their last pitcher.
We get him, we have chance.
A punchers chance. We have a lot of punchers.
