Kennedy Brown is good enough that we should find a way of she wants to go here. At the very least not go to the schmucks or ucla.

But a point guard would be a nice find this year. A versatile utility player like KtMac or Sam Signer before her could find a home here as well.
I wonder if there is any pressure on the recruits to verbal early and lock down a spot? Doesn't always work that way though.

I hope Kennedy is able to come out for an Official. She would be a great addition to the program - as well, she is a national "commodity" so a visit from her solidifies even further OSU's rep as a destination school for elite players.... I'm writing from memory, but I think Kennedy is competing for the USA U-18 team in late May, so there's no telling when she might visit Corvallis... To me it is interesting that both she and Taylor Jones listed UCLA as among their final "narrowed down" schools.... That they would both be interested tells me that UCLA's recruiting reach is considerable, and that top players in the country hold Coach Close in higher esteem than most of us on this board.... If we don't hear anything from Kemery Martin soon, we probably will after her next OV... May is still early in the recruiting process for her - who knows. It's more than 6 months until she begins her Senior basketball season... It wouldn't surprise me if the Beavs are being VERY selective in the guards they offer in this cycle. We've got some really good young ones on the roster already - Simmons, Slocum & Goodman each have at least 3 years of eligibility remaining. It's very possible that Coach has his eye on 2020 guards more than on those incoming in 2019.... Isn't recruiting fun🏀🤓. GO BEAVS !! Have you been to the UCLA campus? Add in the value of a UCLA degree, and I can see why women’s hoops prospects look at Westwood.

I was a Post-doctoral scholar at UCLA in the 80's. I took in every Bruin home game for an entire season... As well, I travelled to Pauley for every OSU - UCLA basketball game from 1978 - 1988. Usually I stayed at Westwood Holiday Inn with the team (and the cheer leaders).
Through informal gatherings at the UCLA Faculty Club I met several Bruin Boosters - some of whom still send along info and gossip. So yes, I understand why many athletes from many different sports are attracted to Westwood..... GO BEAVS !!

I have a good feeling about this one. She was courted by a list of powerhouse schools including baylor Texas Tennessee Louisville Duke Stanford Mississippi State Florida State and ucla. Just shows that we can land top talent, especially ones that are willing to work hard. No worries about the 4 for the next 5 years. Taya, Andrea, and now Taylor. Pretty good line up. Could allow Andrea to concentrate on the 5. Now we need Kennedy Brown to commit, she has retweeted Taylor's announcement. It's getting to the point that, maybe, a few of these girls are red-shirted.

This twitter was posted this morning. Anyone know what Colorado premier player this refers to? I don't thinks it's Kemery Martin since she was at OSU last weekend, right? Or does a player get 2 OVs to the same school?

My question is, since KM already (apparently) just visited OSU, is the tweet in question referring to some other Colorado Premier player yet to visit Corvallis? (since the tweet refers to a future official visit being set). And if so, does anyone have an idea who she might be?

WHOOPS !! I wasn't following the previous thread close enough to understand its trend of thought.... However, another player from Colorado Premiere visited UCLA last week....There was pic of her on her OV with UCLA team in a hot tub - but I've lost the post on it.... Side thought: Not a word to be found (at least not by me) about Kemery's visit to OSU last week....Not sure what the deal is with that....

Newduke2 - - I'm not for sure on this one, but I think the player you are referring to is Francesca Belibi.... All-State player from Aurora, CO.... Generally recognized as the first girl to dunk in a Colorado h.s. game.... I have no clue if the Beavs are after her.... Or, an even better possibility, in my opinion, is Ashten Prechtel who recently visited UCLA... She is the kind of player Rueck wants, so he is probably recruiting her.... www.coloradopremierbasketball.com/tag/ashten-prechtel/

Any timetable on when Kemery or Kennedy will make their decisions? Haven’t heard anything about either of them. Hopefully we can get at least one of them, but both would be great!

Kennedy has no lack of confidence or bravado, good for her:

Would love to see L Amihere (2019) from Canada on the list for an OV. She is super athletic and can handle the ball, imagine bringing in a 6'3" pg who can go big on D when needed
