The down side is that after this much time MW and JT may find themselves needing to transfer to play hoops. As far as Grymek, she may make huge strides ( I do not see her becoming as athletic as SR likes his posts as even Ruth would run circles around her), or she may go play overseas before her eligibility is up?! The upcoming season is Grymek's last.

The upcoming season is Grymek's last. I guarantee that Grymek will make huge strides. I'm sensing an intentional double entendre (considering she is 6'8" tall), but not in a risqué way.

The word is that this coming weekend (May 4-6) will be a weekend that will include one or more visiting Class of 2019 recruits on their official and/or unofficial visits to Corvallis. Most of the team is involved in some facet of the hosting process with one or two players typically serving as the primary hosts.
The visits will typically be publicized on the Twitter sites of the recruits. So, we hope to see some Twitter evidence by the end of next weekend that one or more recruits got another opportunity to see Corvallis. With the local weather forecast to be 70-71 degrees for highs in Corvallis on Friday through Sunday, the weather should not be a limiting factor in showing the recruits a good time.

I believe that two recruits arrive today for official visits and will head back home on Sunday. One of the two visitors is expected to be 6'3" Taylor Jones (ranked #28 in her class by ESPN) of Dallas Christian HS in Texas. Taylor has been to Corvallis previously on at least one unofficial visit and/or the OSU Elite basketball camp in 2017. The other Class of 2019 visitor is reportedly a guard from Utah. It may be Kemery Martin, a player who has been reportedly offered by the Beavs according to previous posts on this forum. Martin is ranked #51 overall by ESPN and as high as #23 by Prospects Nation, indicating that she likely attends the Prospects Nation camps on a regular basis. I will check their Twitter sites following the weekend to try to confirm whether they spent time in Corvallis this weekend. www.espn.com/high-school/girls-basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/221002www.espn.com/high-school/girls-basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/231040

Jones is 6' 3" but has a wingspan of 7' 2". I'd like to see her in orange and black. She was here last year for a visit on the way to a tournament in California. She skipped over the *ucks at the time, I'm not sure but I doubt she is interested in them. Listed as a 5 but will probably be a 4 on a d1 team.

bhf - If your info is correct, this is a great start to the Official Visit season for the Beavs.... Both girls have very impressive basketball resumes, are in high demand by other national level programs, and are pretty much situated in the "can't miss" category... Having these two visit in the same weekend makes it clear that the Beavs are recruiting near the top tier of the high school talent pool....
I don't know who Coach is planning to bring in for Officials in the next few weeks - but it will be interesting to watch and learn.
GO BEAVS !!

After TJ and her father visited last time she was on her way to California for a camp (IIRC). He seemed really high on the beavs, was often seen wearing beaver gear. I hope his daughter feels the same. Looking at her social media she appears that she would be a good fit.

I see Taylor is ranked at #9 on Prospects Nation. Kennedy Brown was 40something. It sounds like Kemery is another good shooter.

I have a good feeling about this one. She was courted by a list of powerhouse schools including baylor Texas Tennessee Louisville Duke Stanford Mississippi State Florida State and ucla. Just shows that we can land top talent, especially ones that are willing to work hard.
No worries about the 4 for the next 5 years. Taya, Andrea, and now Taylor. Pretty good line up. Could allow Andrea to concentrate on the 5.
Now we need Kennedy Brown to commit, she has retweeted Taylor's announcement.

This is great news, and shows that the Beaver staff are continuing to elevate this program. Some tidbits, maybe questions after reading through her twitter. She had her second hip surgery last fall, and just started running again around Christmas time. I'm surprised she is ranked as high as she is (#9 on prospects nation) considering being injured this year, but I guess that is based on AAU play, and her sophomore season. Speaking of AAU, someone correct me if I am wrong, but it looks like her and Kennedy are going to play on the same team this summer. Hope that is a prelude to them playing together as Beavers.
Taylor, and her family seem to have strong faith in God. If I caught it all correctly Taylor's Mom has lung cancer, so please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers while she fights this horrible battle.
I believe both AA and PM verballed in May last year, so I was hoping we would get one soon. I'm glad it was Taylor. She seems like a real great kid with a tremendous family! Does anyone know if anybody from her family joined Taylor on this trip? I believe her father was with her last time she was here.
