Considering Baylor was heavily recruiting her, I wonder what km has to say about it.
Her dad was seen wearing beaver gear often after last summer's visit. It is customary for one if not both parents to join the kids on official visits, especially since ncaa allows for the school to cover the usual costs for them.
Now a point guard would be nice. And a 6' 2" utility player with very high basketball IQ.

I think many people underestimate how much of a recruiting draw Scott as a coach really is.

Anyone know if Kemery Martin was definitely also on visit? And hiw things went for her? It has been confirmed that Kemery was on the official visit in Corvallis along with Taylor this past weekend. It is not surprising when one recruit is closer to making her decision than another recruit. It may have been a bit awkward for Kemery when Taylor verbally committed on Saturday night and the weekend still had other activities. However, Kemery needs to make the right choice for herself at the right time. Going into the weekend, it appeared that Taylor's final three choices were OSU, UCLA, and Florida State. Very happy to see that she was willing to leave her native Texas to help sustain and even elevate the top women's collegiate basketball program on the west coast. The feedback that I heard is that both recruits would be very good fits for the Beavs program. The OSU coaches do their homework all over the AAU circuit to ensure that the targeted recruits will be able to easily assimilate into the program's team-first culture.

I believe that was her first hip surgery (late Sep. 2017). She had a second surgery in early February of this year (on the opposite hip, I believe, from the first surgery). She's about 5" taller than her "twin sister" Tori. Are those extra 5 inches of height due to her hip operations?

I was wondering who this was with the team and T. Jones. beaverhoopsfan cleared it up for me (from Keith Jones Facebook page) That is Kemery Martin next to DS, right?

Yes. She is also in the picture that went along with Taylor’s announcement (Apparently taken on the last visit given it was in Reeser and they were dresses for cold weather; with Katie Baker in that pic)

Twin sister Tori Jones attended Taylor's official visit to Corvallis along with father, Keith, and Keith's wife, Taylor's stepmother. A photo of assistant coach Katie Baker, Tori Jones, and Taylor Jones is shown in the Twitter post accessible below. The consistently positive and warm nature of Katie Baker played a vital role in the recruitment of Taylor Jones. There is little doubt that Katie is a tremendous asset for the Beavs with their recruiting efforts. Willtalk, Please don't joke about Taylor's hip operations. Simply not funny. At all....

Will Kennedy Brown take an OV?

Will Kennedy Brown take an OV? I hope so. It appears that she was enjoying her prom this past weekend, so my guess is that she was asked by the OSU coaching staff to be in Corvallis this past weekend with Taylor Jones and Kemery Martin but she had an understandable excuse. Coach Rueck and his staff try to align all of their top recruits to attend their official visits in Corvallis together, but high schoolers' schedules often don't allow for that.

I hope Kennedy is able to come out for an Official. She would be a great addition to the program - as well, she is a national "commodity" so a visit from her solidifies even further OSU's rep as a destination school for elite players....
I'm writing from memory, but I think Kennedy is competing for the USA U-18 team in late May, so there's no telling when she might visit Corvallis...
To me it is interesting that both she and Taylor Jones listed UCLA as among their final "narrowed down" schools.... That they would both be interested tells me that UCLA's recruiting reach is considerable, and that top players in the country hold Coach Close in higher esteem than most of us on this board....
If we don't hear anything from Kemery Martin soon, we probably will after her next OV... May is still early in the recruiting process for her - who knows. It's more than 6 months until she begins her Senior basketball season...
It wouldn't surprise me if the Beavs are being VERY selective in the guards they offer in this cycle. We've got some really good young ones on the roster already - Simmons, Slocum & Goodman each have at least 3 years of eligibility remaining. It's very possible that Coach has his eye on 2020 guards more than on those incoming in 2019.... Isn't recruiting fun🏀🤓. GO BEAVS !!

After 3 more years, Slocum and Goodman will be gone. We need a great point guard ready to go for the 2021-2022 season ... and a back-up. Ideally we would land one this year (2019 class) and one next year (2020 class). Another good 3-pt shooting guard would be great this year too, given that we lose McWilliams and Kalmer after this year and Tudor the year after that. While it would be great to get Kennedy Brown, I think the need for another post is bigger next year.
