Baseba1111, does Pearce look healthy? Standing right next to him... was heated and fine... now been sitting for 5-6 min. Both were warm by the time the 1st walk was over... nodded when he heard me say, too loudly, "it's time"... |

As is obvious from my posts, I am a coach backer and look for the reasoning, but the only way any of this makes sense is if Pearce was nicked. What the heck was going on? |

I guess that's why Nate was late, hard to make a change when the guys in the pen have been hit hard this weekend. Had two guys warm to start the 8th... they didn't hit it, they were put on. Pearce or Jake make people swing it and Zona had 3 hits at that time. And, PC is as much to blame as anyone. He can TELL Nate when and what and was the guy who signaled for both to heat up. Was a game costing decision. That and scoring 15 total runs vs this staff! |
