I don't follow that closely... Just curious.

Isaac was a 4* on both scout and rivals.

Isaac was a 4* on both scout and rivals. only 4* and he mentioned... "and delivered on that potential??" Would have to say no to that even as 4*... great kid and his family are good people. But, if you are just judging on result vs expectation ratio... big brother out-shined him.

This goes back a long way. During Pettibone's time He recruited a Punter, best in the country. Brett Hopkins? He never punted, but became a long snapper. Of course He may have been a 4 star.He was on Parade list I believe.

Tim Alexander was also on Parade list as 1st team that year as Hopkins. Tim moved to WR when Riley came in.

Wasn't DA considered to be one of the top would QBs out there, not just in Oregon? Miami wanted him bad. That was a year or two before Rivals.

Seumalo was hands down one of the best offensive lineman ever to come to OSU. I am not sure what on earth you are even pretending to look at there.

He was a stud for sure.

We'll agree to disagree on this, but he's not in the top 10 of the last 10 years. He was not the best lineman on the team in 2 of the 3 years he played. So with the hype he came with overall his career fell short. But,that's why hype, fan expectations, recruiting #s mean squat. As Don James used to say, "... ask me in 4 years." When asked how good a recruiting was.
