MoJo is indeed Joanna Grymek. Name came from from a CR interview where he said we will see more Jo on the court.

Thanks bib - - I wondered how that combination of letters was created to refer to Joanna Grymek....Makes sense, and now that I know the story I like it better.
Totally off topic, but interesting....On the current So Cal WBB forum there is a lengthy discussion about the coaching merits of UCLA Head Coach Close....Those on this board who have criticized her coaching skills have lots of company in LA.... The general consensus is that she runs a clean program, her kids like her, and they graduate. As well, it is generally agreed that she does not get the performance from her players, or her team s a whole, that the talent at UCLA warrants....

Question that has been bugging me: Who is MoJo? Mikayla Pivec? I guess I missed the memo. I saw Joanna Grymek referred to in some tweet as "Mo'Jo" and liked it (and have been perpetuating it)......though when I went to source it in response to this post my cursory search didn't turn up the reference......this internet stuff is so transient! Go Beavers!

I found the tweet referencing Taylor Jones visit to OSU, so I am re-posting it in this thread..... OSU campus is so beautiful, I think if recruits visit they have a whole different view of the Beavers. Especially if they are a tree-hugger :-).
Go Beavers!

I did some research when she first visited and was happy to see that her Oregon sweep included only one of the Oregon schools, no interest in the *ucks. From her social presence it looks like she would be a good fit for the beavs.

"Canadian Hammer" I rest my case. As far as Ms Grymek. I'd like to see her play a few minutes of NCAA Div1 ball before I conclude that she possesses any basketball "mojo". But that's just me. Feel free to nickname away.

Less than 48 hours until we know for sure. Wil2win has a couple new pictures of AA on their homepage, they are still saying that the twin towers are committed to OSU. I have no reason to question it.
Jazz Simmons still has us on her Twitter page including updated links. Looks like she is good to go as well.
Not sure about Katie Mayheu or Rae Burrell. I had read somewhere that Burrell did in fact take an official visit to Tennessee for what that is worth. Did not see any pictures of it though.

Rae Burrell apparently has decided on Tennessee, per her Twitter feed. Go Beavers!

YIIIKES !! That hurts - at least in my view....Rae is the kind of physical specimen the Beavs could really maximize.....Tennessee reels 'em in...Maybe they'll cough her back up in a year or two.... Now the recruiting attention shifts to Katie Mayhew who remains the quiet, untold story.....

SR can reel in a better player with that scholly and that is not meant to be a slam on Mayhew. She is just not the caliber of our current players and class.

baseba1111 - -I haven't seen Mayhew play so I have no way to judge one way or the other.....I can't imagine Coach signing her to a letter if you and he think the same about her potential to play in the PAC....
If she signs elsewhere then that will pretty much support your assessment of her skills because it is obvious that both she and her family are hoping for an OSU schollie.... On the practical side of things, this is a good year for the Beavs to sign 3 rather than 4, and it is also a good year to pass on a "marginal" player because more talent is lining up for an OSU audition than even before.

Added PG Destiny Slocum may have pushed Mayhew out. Who knows?
