After 2 games i would say QB is about 7th on the list of things needing to be fixed. About 5 of those on the other side of the ball. He completed something like 70% of his passes today at over 9 yards per attempt.

He forced a ball on the sideline that should have been another pick that ended as a catch. He improved this week. The play calling was horrendous. When DG gets almost as many carries as the other three RBs combined... it's a joke.

Unless it is by starting him in the manner that it happened has completely soured the players on their coaching staff. The problem is 80%ish when our offensive units are sitting on the bench.

I do have to say that each time I saw DG running the ball, I thought "why the hell did we let 3M get away?" because he was the better runner. Hands down. Then my second thought was "why the hell is the QB running with the ball when we have amazing running backs who can do it better?"

Each time I saw DG on the field I was thinking "He better not throw this damn ball". They keep running an offense that requires a dual threat QB to be successful, while we have two separate single-threat QBs.

If I can sit there and call where our running back is going, then I am sure the PSU coaches can. Our o-line and d lines are going to get eaten alive killed by real Pac-12 teams. it may be a matter of player safety. Perhaps we should forfeit the balance of our games

It was Jerrah all over again

We got out rushed by an FCS team 2-1 and Luton is the problem? Are you guys for real? nobody's saying our defense doesn't suck. That fact doesn't erase the cluster f$#k that is our QB situation. We're not yet good enough to suck, maybe by the end of the year with hard work. I was at the game and the defensive line could not escape blocks and most often were blown back a couple of yards.

At halftime, the boys on the desk mentioned that this was the 2nd(actually third) season in a row that OSU has started a QB that was not even on the roster the season before, and the lack of continuity is an issue.
>>>>>>>>
Darrel Garretson, our 2016 Game 1-6 starter, was our scout team QB in 2015. So I guess that means he was on the roster. Marcus McMaryion, our starter in Games 7-12, was on the team in 2015 as well. So last year we obviously did not start a QB who wasn't on the roster the year before. But why let the facts get in the way of a good story.

Oh BTW McMaryion went 6-7 for 100+ yards and 2 TDs today. The last two touchdowns, after coming in with Fresno leading 52-0 against something called Incarnate Word.
