No way we put up 5 on Rasmussen before being taken out I agree the game would have been closer if Rasmussen started. Still, the Beavers would have had to solve the LSU pitcher. Yep gotta hit the ball top to bottom and hasn't happened today |

Y'all are getting close to "Wild Thing" time Counter intuitive, but the sooner the better. Can't touch Gilbert and I don't think Hess can go long. I dont think we need to use him, unless he comes in for the ninth just so nothing crazy happens |

Razz would be strength against strength. Hard throwing pitcher against free swinging power team. Basically an SEC league game.
The problem has been our offense the last 15 or so innings. We could have Nolan Ryan pitching and we still would be losing.

Can you imagine the millions of kids that grow up wanting to be a tiger vs the hundreds of kids growing up that want to be a beaver? Pat Casey's a rock star. Just putting it in perspective.

No reason to yank Gilbert. He's still dealing a gem and pitch count is low. Hess certainly can bring it, but Gilbert has our number tonight. He goes all 9 unless we score 3.

At this point it doesn't seem to be a possibility the Beavers will get anything going against Gilbert. Might as well ride him. |

Last 2 games .060 batting average, 1 run scored Giving up 6 to LSU isn't terrible. Getting nobody on base is just tough to take. LSU pitching did their job our hitters didn't. |
