LSU fans never cared about us. Our stadium is too small for them, we don't have a lot of championships, they look down their noses at us That is not all true some of us do respect your university Messi is a duck or tiger fan. |

This is exactly like the dead bats in 2014 against UCI. Pretty awful timing. Y'all are getting close to "Wild Thing" time Counter intuitive, but the sooner the better. Can't touch Gilbert and I don't think Hess can go long. |

Only team to beat the Beavs back to back all year. That is painfull. But - Hats off to the Tigers. I'll root for LSU to win it all.

I'm sorry... sort of embarrassed by some of the "sour grapes" crap being posted today...
We're being beat by a deeper, better team at this point in time. Umpire... being paid off... being intentionally one sided... really?
We have 3 hits over 14 innings... that doesn't win league game(s). There have been plenty of quality pitches to hit.
PC is the decision maker, but it was unfair to expect Bryce to be effective in shorter than normal rest when he's not been in rotation.
This was a team collapse... HC thru last guy on the bench... just as the successes were. Bad timing, but still a great season. No team will ever duplicate this record. The guys will be heart broken for a time if they don't come back, but they'll soon realize what an achievement they've accomplished.

I think not having Heimlich is a big issue when your pitching staff gets stretched out in these situations. I think it wouldn't have gotten to this point if he was available. Coulda Woulda Shoulda. Of course maybe it would be different in this game if Rasmussen was on the mound from the onset. The gamble didn't pay off.
Then again, the Beavers having gotten anything going at the plate.

A ton of youth on the team. Should see a bunch of familiar faces next year.
This season was a great ride. I hope next year is as well.

No way we put up 5 on Rasmussen before being taken out I agree the game would have been closer if Rasmussen started. Still, the Beavers would have had to solve the LSU pitcher. |
