This is going to be ugly boys. Buckle up. How many points will Kal score today? I’ll put the over/under at 56. Depends if they want to or not.

No pressure on the QB, all day to throw, wide open receivers. John Elway get a fountain of youth pill... 185 yds in the 1st QUARTER!

It can be both. Doesn't have to be either/or. We clearly don't have an abundance of talent. Our guys clearly aren't making plays. Plenty of blame for coaching staff, and players. I've seen plenty of programs that succeed way more due to great coaching than a high level of talent. Boise State is a good example. Even a lot of Oregon State teams. This is not the least talented OSU team I've seen by a longshot. It is one of the worst coached teams I've seen, at least on defense. The offense isn't a dumpster fire but I have a big problem with the lack of development of the passing game. I hope the coaches prove me wrong in the long run because the OSU leadership isn't going to touch this staff anytime soon. I dunno man, I'm not seeing a ton of athletic ability on the defense. The O line looks like they have concrete feet. I agree that the coaching staff needs to be held accountable, but we lost A LOT of talent.....and injuries have been brutal. How long has Wilcox been at Cal? I guarantee you their talent, and depth is better than ours.

Damn. This is mid-eighties bad. Cal already has a season best 1st qtr. It'll only continue. OSU got some stops to have a chance to get back in the game. But, the offense is terrible. So the D is on the field practically the entire 1st qtr.

I wasn’t expecting a win today, but…… DAMN. WTF? I’m in a bit of shock. I hope the kids continue to play hard, but hard work without reward can be a real downer, attitude wise. It looks like they’re playing hard! Can’t fault the effort. IMHO

Ending the season with a 7 game losing streak seems very possible

They are terrible in close games, give up huge leads, and their recruiting has been very close to OSU's. Our staff is not a D1 staff. Talent or not.

Guys not setting the edge, guys taking bad angles on tackles, poor tackling fundamentals, DBs just letting receivers settle into open space and on and on. The Beavers have guys who are good athletes. The linebackers can all run. Edge guys like Saez and Omotosho can run. The DBs all can run. It doesn't help when some of these guys aren't able to play but we continue to see the same results because they aren't functioning correctly. A lot of them aren't good football players yet and that's on the coaches.

Pretty bad.....but we were much healthier when we played them. Honestly, one of our biggest issues is our lack of ability to push the ball down field. I feel like McCoy is regressing. Our pass game is non existent.....paging Dr Ben?

Didn't he (cal qb) throw the ball past the line of scrimmage

Cal is frustrated and they are gonna open up a can of whup ass. I guess we could be optimistic and hope they implode and give up leads like they have in earlier games. But those were against good teams. OSU is not a good team. I mean, even the first game watching us struggle against Idaho St gave me glimmers of worry.
