It seems a lot of people are "late to the party", so I'll lay it out her for you. If you want to find baseball stats, just use baseball-reference.com.
It will certainly tell you Steven Kwan's number of plate appearances vs ABs. Basically, it's like having the back of every baseball card ever published (plus all of the ones that weren't). Same goes for pro-football-reference.com and basketball-reference.com.
These websites have been around for decades and are typically the best source for free, up-to-date statistics.

.400 is still doable but tough to do. If my numbers are right and he gets his average AB the rest of the season he needs to hit .426 the rest of the way. Make it or not it would be great for him/young asian kids who see him as a role model/OSU baseball if he wins the batting crown
Kwan Games Played 59 At Bats 240 Hits 88 BA 0.366666667 At Bats/Game 4.06779661 Clevland games played 85 Remaining games 77 Ext AB remaining 313.220339 Goal BA 0.400 AB Est 553.220339 Total Hits to goal 221.2881356 Total hits remaining 133.2881356 BA to get to goal 0.425541126

Make it or not it would be great for him/young Asian kids who see him as a role model/OSU baseball if he wins the batting crown Kwan Games Played 59 At Bats 240 Hits 88 BA 0.366666667 At Bats/Game 4.06779661 Cleveland games played 85 Remaining games 77 Ext AB remaining 313.220339 Goal BA 0.400 AB Est 553.220339 Total Hits to goal 221.2881356 Total hits remaining 133.2881356 BA to get to goal 0.425541126 Awesome stuff. His estimate ABs are 553, 313 ABs remaining. In order to reach .400, he would need to have 221 or 222 hits. 221/553 (133 more hits) would get Kwan to .3996, which rounds to .400. I remember an article about 20 years delving into whether or not that would count. (Tony Gwynn was hitting .3938 before the strike killed the season in 1994 and was cited as one of the reasons that the owners and players needed to work things out.) And I forget what the consensus was as to whether .39964 would count or not Anyway, 133/313 would be a batting average of .42492 the rest of the way. 222/553 (134 more hits) would get Kwan to .40145, .401. 134/313 would be a batting average of .42812 the rest of the way. Since Ted Williams hit .406 in 1941, Gwynn's .39379 in 1994 is the best batting average. In order to best that, Kwan would need to compile at least 130 more hits to finish with a projected batting average of .39421. The highest full season average since 1941 was George Brett's .38976 in 1980. Brett missed 45 games because of a couple of injuries (most of it from a torn ligament in his foot in June/July on a bad slide). Brett had a 30-game hitting streak from July 18 to August 19 and was hitting .407 after going 5/5 on August 26th. Brett finished August with a batting average of .403. Brett was hitting .400 on September 19th but went 4/27 to sink to .384 before finishing 10/19 to finish .38976. In order to best George Brett, Kwan would need to compile 128 more hits. Ted Williams hit .38810 in 1957 but that was during a 154-game season. Just to put this all in perspective, best batting average since Williams' .38810 in 1957: 1. Tony Gwynn 1994 .39379 Silver Slugger. 2. George Brett 1980 .38976 AL MVP. 3. Rod Carew 1977 .38799 AL MVP. 4. Larry Walker 1999 .37900 Silver Slugger. 5. Todd Helton 2000 .37241 Undoubtedly the NL MVP but finished fifth in voting. Led the Majors in BA, SLG, and OPS. Led the NL in OBP. Ridiculous! 6. Nomar Garciaparra 2000 .37240 Best batting average by a righty, since Joe DiMaggio hit .38095 in 1939. 7. Ichiro Suzuki 2004 .37216 Undoubtedly the AL MVP but finished seventh in voting. Less Ridiculous than Wade Boggs and Todd Helton but still bad. 8. Tony Gwynn 1997 .37162 Silver Slugger. 9. Andres Galarraga 1993 .37021 Best batting average by a righty since Joe DiMaggio hit .38095 in 1939. Surpassed by Nomar Garciaparra seven years later. 10. Tony Gwynn 1987 .37012 Silver Slugger. 11. Barry Bonds 2002 .36973 NL MVP 12. Wade Boggs 1985 .36753 Fourth in AL MVP voting. 13. Jeff Bagwell 1994 .36750 NL MVP 14. Steven Kwan 2024 .36667
Since 1940, everyone who has hit .365 or better has finished in the top 10 in MVP voting.

As of this moment (5 pm pacific on July 26) Kwan is now 4 for his last 26 ABs (.159 BA during the period - current BA .338). That is, at the very least, a short term slump.

Buck Showalter had a good point on MLB Network tonight. He acknowledged Kwan was slumping but pointed out he's a high-contact hitter. He said he doesn't worry about high-contact hitters who are slumping, because sooner or later the hits will fall. He worries about the high-strikeout guys who are slumping because you can't even get a chinker or a flare or a bloop or a swinging bunt if you don't make contact.
