Sitton was the national high school player of the year in at least one publication. I saw him as a sophomore at McMinnville HS. He was amazing. At that time he was probably 6'7 and 165lbs. As a senior at OSU he was probably 6'8 and on a heavy day 210 lbs. He played 43 games in the NBA and his career high is 8 points. As a wild guess, Biladeau's NBA career (he will have one) will be more AC Green like and less Charlie Sitton like.

Sitton had 43 games. AC had 1278. I think Biladeau gets more than 200. Because of his offense, he will out perform Eubanks.

That's Eubanks, who many of the coaches here thought was crazy for leaving OSU to try to play in the NBA, because he'd never be an NBA player. And I freely admit I am surprised at his career too. Point is you never know.

Team 1: 13-19, 5-15 in league. Finished last place. Team 2: 25-5, 16-2 in league, finished first. Which Team did Bilodeau play on and which team did sitton play on? Sitton didn't have to score for his team to be successful. If sitton had to score his average would have been much higher. I never saw Sitton play. I have seen Tyler play. He is only a sophomore, has been an outstanding player at times and has plenty of room for growth. I have no idea if he'll be as good or better or worse than Sitton by the time he's a senior. I do know that it's foolish to make a final judgment of someone after their sophomore year. Your statement just tells me that Sitton had a much easier time of it and didn't face the challenges Bilodeau does every game. He didn't have to score for his team to win, so there was no pressure on him. He wasn't the top or even the No. 2 concern of opposing defenses. He also had much better talent to play with. There is no way to tell how Sitton would have performed on the 2023-24 Beavers, just as there is no way to tell how Bilodeau would have performed in the Beavers of Sitton's era. So you compare their numbers. Besides, we were comparing individuals, not teams. Sitton was a force. At times, when needed, he was a one man gang. He was aggressive and would get into foul trouble. The opposition would slowly climb back into it. Then Ralph would have to put Charlie back in and we would ease to victory. It was awesome being a student then. Sitton was one of my favorites. I don’t care what stats may say. He was a leader and a force.

Totally different player. But he got hurt his rookie year in Dallas and never recovered to the point of being able to play in the NBA. But make no mistake, he was a baller.

You see guys drafted every year that aren’t even stars and then they go on to make millions. For the most part you’re either born with an NBA body or you aren’t. Very few people who don’t have the right body/athleticism can will themselves into the NBA. Drew was like a 14 pts 7 rebounds guy in college….. Solid but not someone you plan your defense around……..and now he’s making $2.5 M a year and getting significant minutes.

I was bummed he wasn't more of a differrence maker but definitely has the body and skillset. The pass he made to GPll for the dunk in the tourney was awesome.

Speaking of Drew, Nurkic was hut, so I watched Drew start and play 27 minutes against the defending champs in Denver. The Suns won 104-97, one of two teams to beat the Nuggets twice in Denver this season. Entertaining.

Truth is hard for us white guys. We just take longer to physically mature. Don’t mean to make it a race thing but a white guy is gonna be 23-24 before he gets that full grown man prowess that a lot of the brothers have at 19-21
