I think you’re on to something there. I can see our new recruiting and fundraising pitches now. “Come play for/support Oregon State. We lose to tournament teams by less than they beat their first round opponents.” That pretty much sums up where the program is. That this is even a noteworthy “accomplishment” let alone one that some people might think deserves being celebrated says it all. I don’t need to misrepresent your argument. The team that looked the most like a tourney team against Oregon was the one playing them in the tourney, not the one sitting at home. Using a little cartoon that mentions logic in it does not make your argument in turn logical. That you think that OSU losing by less than South Carolina shows anything other than your endless. desperate search to find ways to prop up Wayne’s miserable 3 year run would be cute if it wasn’t so depressing.

You are going to defend South Carolina's inclusion in the Tournament? Lost to Auburn by 40 on the road and 31 at a neutral site? And played the 30th-worst nonconference schedule? When was the last time that Oregon State lost by 40 points? South Carolina's inclusion in the Tournament was stupid. And a six seed? Sweet Mary and Joseph! I will stand by my previous assertion. Oregon State is more of a Tourney team than South Carolina. Still excited for next year.

Oregon has no shot at the Sweet Sixteen? Someone better tell the Ducks. Oregon State's two single digit losses are looking pretty legit at this moment. As I originally projected. Arizona would be the only Sweet 16 chance. Thought uo had a chance when they got in, but lack of depth in OT cost them. Colorado was my only sweet 16 pick from the PAC. Thought Arizona would choke like they always do against a double digit seed, however I think Nevada had a better shot against them than Dayton did.
