OK... the "turf" is colored... the small, rubber "pellets" are all black. But.......are there "fancy" french drains under that turf? They are freedom drains.

If bats start flying or the players can’t grip the ball, they will delay/cancel. Also, if there’s standing water on the field. Rubber dirt? Wasn't Rubber Dirt a porn start from he 70's? No, it was Dirty Rubber.

Big storm system for sure. I have an inch and a half of snow in Bend at 9 am. It was bare ground at 7 am.

Y’all can (and probably WILL) disagree, but I don’t understand scheduling baseball, in Corvallis, in February/early March. I LOVE going to the Beaver games…. but I’m not going to freeze my ass off to sit through it. Miserable for the players, too. I’m a candy-ass.

It certainly doesn't help recruiting, at least for a certain percentage of kids. I realize it's expensive to go on road trips, but it's too bad we couldnt avoid this early season s%#t weather......although, some years the weather sucks almost the entire baseball season.

I’ve worn rain gear to FAR MORE baseball games, than football games, percentage wise. I simply do not enjoy it, the older I get.

My dad asked me if I wanted to go to a game this weekend and I told him no. If it were a conference matchup, maybe.....but when it's cold enough to be a snow/rain mix.....nah, I'm good.

Hear me out. Let's buy a ton of powerball tickets and if we win build a dome. Make it 20k seats and become a destination for tournaments!
It's fool proof.

I've sat in many a duck blind. I've stood in many a stream, in winter. Hell, I grew up trolling for steelhead on the Columbia, in EO.....I've got the gear. Thing is, I have a million other things going on with kids sports, home projects, other family commitments......every weekend is full of stuff. If the weather is gonna be total s%#t against NDST, I feel like my time probly better spent on an indoor project, and kids basketball/volleyball.......I only get to go to so many Beaver games. I'd rather go when the weather is better. Not to mention I live in Salem, so it's a little different then if I lived in Corvallis.
