I’ve got Turley, he has an unteachable skill. If he makes consistent contact balls end up in the parking lot

I got Guerra. He really came alive last season. He's a big, strong kid who is now a junior. Talent + experience

It's a no-brainer. Turley led the team last year with fewer games played. Although I was tempted to say Bazanna because of how much he improved last year, I don't think he'll be swinging for the fences.
I just hope the boys have learned when to use power and when to take what they give you.

My guess in order is...Turley, Kasper, Guerra, Haineline, and Baz.
Turley has some of the easiest power I've ever seen in college.

Turley hit 14 bombs in 149 at bats. If he had played all season in 2023 and kept hitting at that clip, he would have hit 22, breaking Jim Wilson's record of 21.
Larnach had 253 at bats in 2018. If Turley kept hitting like he did in 2023, he would have hit 24 home runs in 253 at bats.
The post-2000 Pac-10/12 record for home runs is Arizona State's Spencer Torkelson's 25 in 2018.
As long as he does not suffer a huge sophomore slump, Turley should not be seriously challenged for the 2024 home run crown. And, if he is, Oregon State's offense may be pretty close to unstoppable.

I have a feeling he had his sophomore slump for like 2 months last season.

Havent heard much hype coming out for Turley. Hopefully he is dialed in this season. Hype usually goes to frosh/transfers and guys that are draft eligible pre-season.

he has alot of power at the end of last season and all reports are that he is excellent at selecting his pitches this off-season. 17 would be awesome

It'll be interesting to see how Kasper, and Turley handle the off speed stuff. Both of them have been susceptible to a good slider. It's a tough pitch to lay off of. Another year under their belts though. Big things are expected!

What's the best HR field we play at this year? Eugene's has gotten easier for sure.

What's the best HR field we play at this year? Eugene's has gotten easier for sure. Bailey-Brayton, probably. I will say that USC is playing at Orange County Great Park this year, and I have no idea how that plays. Oregon State plays four at Globe Life Field, and I have no idea how that plays either. Oregon State plays one at Spokane, where the Beavs have not played since 2008. Phoenix Municipal (nine homers in 2021 and eight homers in 2023) is probably the easiest park to hit home runs out of in the Pac-12, but Arizona State plays at Goss this year.
