Thanks, I enjoyed the article, although they did wrap it up a little short in the ending. Much like my post I'm sure, but this line cracked me up, Overall, Oregon State scores 0.94 points per possession, ranking 16th overall in the league. 16th in a 12 team league isn't much to brag about! I'm guessing they meant all of college basketball. Thanks for sharing! |

I can't think of a nickname but we could call every shot from beyond the 3pt line "the Lily Pad".

If i were beavers versus USC NEXT WEEK i would zone all game and force that scoring machine to beat us frim outside only box and one her she is such a ball hog take advantage of it box her in snd foul her out!

I remember at least one person here, when Lily arrived "she needs to get in the weight room and bulk up" or similar. Well, this photo shows , next to Talia, not much change in that area but, don't care.
In the last couple games she has fallen backwards after making 3s and I've noticed in both cases there was a defender right on her. I don't know if that is a cause and effect but she is getting more daring and taking 3s with defenders close it seems, happy to see that.

Hansford is shooting 68% from 3 in conference. 17-25. Not a high volume of shots, but a pretty amazing shooting percentage.

Adley had ac similar finish to last year and can't see the court. Lilly isn't a great, maybe even good defender, but she has great length and a wingspan. That gives her a bit of advantage in many defensive situations. And, in brief spells any D liability has been far outweighed by her offensive contributions. Almost making up for TVO's drop off. |
