When your QB sits in a clean pocket for 8 seconds and throws the ball 3 yards over the head of wide open recievers, you don't need taller receivers. You need an actual football player and not just a first off the bus caricature of one.

I think a lot of that wildness comes from being off balance. However why it happens.

Fun game to be at. Bad outcome....some uw players showed why most other teams hate them...taunting the students at game end. No class clowns

We get more first downs 21=14, more yardage on the ground and in the air...urg! Yet we lose because our long snapper snaps the ball over our punter's head and we get screwed again by the ref. on what should have been offsetting personal fouls The safety was not the difference. Washington simply kicks the extra point on its third TD instead of going for two and wins 21-20. Can't remember a game where I've been wetter. The three seats next to me went for $200 apiece, two guys and a girl. They show up late, girl blows chunks at halftime and they leave, so I move over and get out of the rain. Frustrating night. Huskies leave the Pac-12 as complete jerks, several players taunting the student section.

We gave them 2 points on the safety and 6 or 7 more on a very short field on a fumble. The D mostly made it pretty hard on their O. Yeah but We only had the ball there because they fumbled on 5. And safety was somewhat offset by fact they missed 2 Pt conversion. Bottom line OSU held then scoreless in second half and didn't quite do enough offensively to win the game. Hey...Go Beavs. That was awesome. To think where we were not so long ago to where we are? And, if there was no safety, UW doesn't go for two, kicks, still wins 21-20. 1st and 10 at the 15 and end up kicking a FG from the 17!! Combo of bad luck... huge momentum play on the screen pass, but HB is injured. Unfortunately it allowed UW a huge timeout to regroup. Maybe the 2nd worst play sequence called other than the last 4 to end the game. Although Chiles' series and to begin the 2nd half were bad also. UW made significant halftime adjustments vs the run. I think DM was like 14 for 42 in the 2nd vs 12 for 84 in the first. The offensive adjustments were disjointed and let one of the best 2nd half defensive performances be wasted. Holding that UW offense to ZERO was incredible.

Props to Washington..the stepped up 2 or e times when they absolutely had to to win the game. I hate to question coaching decisions at this point. We are so lucky to have the staff we do. They aren't perfect either. We lost by 2 to the #5 undefeated team in the country. OSU is a top 10 to 20 team. Crazy to imagine not so long ago

Game atmosphere was super fun. I’m so disappointed that we lost the game. The rain was helping us with dropped passes but screwed us with the safety in the end.

The offensive adjustments were disjointed and let one of the best 2nd half defensive performances be wasted. Holding that UW offense to ZERO was incredible. Chiles' series was awful. The announcers thought that it was stupid, and it was. Zero points on the Chiles' drive, and three points on the following four drives. Drives and points were at a premium, and we treated both like we could score at will and had all the time in the world. Idiotic! DM went 12 for 86 yards in the first half and 14 for 37 in the second. Washington went one safety over-the-top like Arizona and then dared Oregon State to hit deep outs. It seemed like the screens and quick hitters were working. It also seemed like we needed to run more fly sweep. We needed to find a way to soften the defense, so that Martinez could take advantage, and we never did. I don't remember a bubble screen, but I was screaming for one. Vanilla play calling on first set up bad second and third downs. No audibles out of running plays, which were DOA. Not a lot of originality on second and third. Oh well, bring on Oregon. Let's take it all out on those clowns!

Chiles has done well in spot duty all season. Did the announcers say how he did in previous games on his series? TD against Stanford, TD against Colorado, etc.
The false start penalty on a 2nd-and-5 killed Chiles series.

In denial? No. Dawg lover? No. Classic? Yes. Helluva battle. If you think I'm going to attack the Beavers or the coaches after a game like that, you're an idiot. Anyone who does is an idiot. Look at what we did to the vaunted Husky offense in the second half. They couldn't do squat in the second half. So screw you. I'm proud of my Beavers! They fought a helluva battle and showed a lot of heart! You are drunk . You believe in YMCA play where everyone get a ribbon at the end of the day. You are in awe and biased towards the dawgs, the traitor dawgs. The guys here thought the offense sputtered at times with the deep ball but you are just happy it was a battle. That is all. People like you just have low expectations still. This win would have meant so much but you are just happy with the battle. To each his own I guess.

Yes, and that's what makes this game especially sickening. it is results like this that make other P5 conferences not want OSU when they hit perceived glass ceilings like this and can’t break through. 2006, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2022 and now 2023. Yes they are ranked in many of these years but no Rose Bowls, no Pac 12 championships. Need a near perfect bounce of the ball, luck and some breaks to miraculously once in 50 years make it. MWC alliances are where this program is headed. This is as close as they were going to get to something more.

Maybe you had to be there, sticking it out through the rain till the end, or maybe you just have to be mature enough to deal with disappointment, but that was indeed a good, classic game. The players know it and most fans know it. A slugfest between two legit top 10 teams. Nobody has anything to be embarrassed about.

UW certainly has the conduct of their players to be embarrassed about. No class.
