This is all going to the state Supreme Court and possibly to a federal court. You can see how it is being presented to do so. Across so many states and the like. It stinks so far. If that is the case, and we remain in limbo for the foreseeable future, we are cooked

UW lawyer is making some points... what is he saying that you find compelling or persuasive? His point regarding..hey we know we are bailing but won't announce anything until Aug 1 2024. Plus if OSU and WSU left the conference there would be NO board members. I still like our position...Honestly the bylaws weren't written with the demise of the entire conference being a consideration

HA! Well, THAT is awkward. Funny how past actions determine future consequences.

Honestly the bylaws weren't written with the demise of the entire conference being a considerationand I think that is why they were so clumsy on their way out. They assumed that the demise was imminent and that OSU and WSU would immediately attach themselves to another conference and the Pac would dissolve. They didn't pause a beat to consider we would entrench
I addressed the reason why I believe "notice" is so vital to the underlying questions here. Remaining members are immediately negatively impacted by future actions (I listed a few several posts back). Again, if the only harm that could occur could only occur AFTER a school has left, there would be no reason for the word 'notice' to be in the bylaws

I don't think the 10 give 1 hoot about the board. They do care about the 2 being the board and voting that the 2 get all the money. Hoping we can come to an agreement where the 2 get the lions share and the rest get a smaller share. It's just figuring the percentages...60/40 ??

The revenue earned this year is just their red herring. they want to be granted board seats back so they can immediately vote to dissolve the conference.

Their lawyer is so damned repetitive. Always about the money.
Let’s beat UW twice this week!!

UW attorney says with a straight face that there is NO CONFLICT OF INTEREST between the departing conference schools and the remaining schools regarding future board actions. Amazing.

Ok their lawyer just said the have no desire to end the pac 12 conference That being said, if they were given voting rights, what would the suggest be done with the money? They asked us and we said we have no plan until we know what the board is....So ask both if you are on a board of 12 or a board of 2, what do you do?

Can’t understand why our lawyer hasn’t mentioned the dissolution of the conference.

Interesting that the plaintiffs will not come out and say what they plan to do with the 23-24 money and the 10 obviously is not going to admit that they would dissolve the conference but it's obvious to me that they absolutely could not care less what happens to OSU and WSU. Seems like little to no common ground was found in the last month or so.

WSU/OSU know they can't give any ground.
