What an incredibly stupid argument by Pac 12 council. Fire him along with George K.
Edit - if you're that concerned about what happens to the PAC-12, you shouldn't have left the Pac-12!

Edit - if you're that concerned about what happens to the PAC-12, you shouldn't have left the Pac-12! He's not convincing anyone, The question is, who hold the board voting power. If the answer is WSU & OSU then the defectors have no right to ask what their first action might be. |

The idea that harm is not inflicted until AFTER August of 24 is absurd. Once the ten indicated their intention to leave, the conference was immediately put in a position where it became almost impossible to schedule, negotiate TV/sponsor rights and to recruit athletes. It is appalling and an insult to the intelligence to suggest otherwise. It is literally the reason the word 'intent' is in there, otherwise the clause would simply state "can't leave"

This is all going to the state Supreme Court and possibly to a federal court. You can see how it is being presented to do so. Across so many states and the like. It stinks so far.
