The Sioux and Cheyenne warriors led by Crazy Horse attacked with Winchester, Henry and Spencer repeating rifles as well as bows and arrows.
Most of Custer’s men were armed with Springfield single-shot carbine rifles and Colt .45 revolvers; they were easily outgunned. The fires of 1982 that cleaned out much of the overgrowth on the battlefield led to more discovery of artifacts, etc. including spent cartridges from both sides. It was discovered the Lakota had superior firepower. www.history.com/news/little-bighorn-battle-facts-causesSorry Glove.

Saying an act is cowardice does not make it so. It is not. In fact, it is embracing the new life that OSU has been thrusted into. Accept it and move forward boldly. No looking back. At least, I don't want to see the CW football game ever played again. Other sports, we'll see. Football, no. Your stated reason for us not playing Oregon is that they will be making more than Oregon State. Oregon State not playing them for that reason is cowardice. Now that I have won that point and the goalposts have been moved, I will deal with the new goalposts. You now assert that we will gain more than $2 million in some esoteric "goodwill" or something from the public at large. That is nonsense. If Oregon State does not play Oregon, no one will watch Oregon State. No one. We will be irrelevant. You are advocating for isolationism and not a well-reasoned superior nation isolating itself from an inferior nation, but a backward inferior nation isolating itself from a superior one. We are Vanuatu, and your revenge plot is to stop exporting coconuts. Are you believe that greater self-harm causing Oregon some resultant harm makes is a sound strategy. I disagree. It is emotional gobbledygook. It is not a sound strategy. 1980 Olympics. 1984 Olympics. Secluding yourself from competition only hurts you. You’re confusing me with someone else, or you are misreading my posts. I’ve never stated that the reason not to play Oregon is because they will be making more than us. They make more than us now. Reasons not to play Oregon: 1. They f%#*ing destroyed the Pac 12 2. Unless a Hail Mary is thrown, we won’t be in the same conference with them, so why bother? 3. There are a lot of other schools to play. 4. Their uniforms are piss yellow. 5. The people of Oregon need to be reminded of who killed the game. 6. They deserted us. f%#* them. Kowtow to the Big Swoosh if you like. For me, the game is dead. It will never be the same even if it is held. And if it is held, I won’t watch or care. You should just get over it. The CW is dead.

And I, too, like your fishy pic. But as you know, success and failure have different meanings for different people. (In the fish picture, for example, a scientist would say that it is foolish for the goldfish to go to a separate bowl all on his own. He has literally no chance of creating little gold fishies and he has condemned himself to a life alone. Is that success? For whom?) But I agree with the sentiment. Sometimes, the old ways have to be put aside as one steps bravely and forcefully into a new and uncertain future. Leave the trappings of the past in the past. No More Oregon! As someone who worked many years in the aquarium business, the many fish in that bowl that don't get out are likely to be dead shortly in most households. The one on their own has a much greater chance of survival. Exactly my point. Success means something different depending on your background and how you view the world.

Traitors should be hung... not partnered with. (clear hyperbole from me, I am not advocating violence) Under absolutely no circumstances whatsoever will I ever support playing Oregon ever again. I will never attend a game in which we play Oregon, I will never watch, i will never support any action that involves Oregon after this year, unless it is to allow a groveling s%#t tier little sister school down south to come back to the Pac. The Civil War is going to die at 127 games played and it will be Oregon that killed it. Let them own that legacy. They deserve nothing less. They walked away in the 11th hour. They walked away with a deal on the table and two schools immediately ready to join the Pac to back fill (SDSU and SMU) With dozens of others ready to take Colorado's spot. A school so proud of their progressive marketing walked away from the future of streaming so they could be an also-ran in the B1G. Just let them. Be done. Good bye, good riddance. I don't want my future entertainment to be a constant reminder of the weasel actions that school took to ultimately kill the Pac and end 100+ years of college traditions. Nope. Not standing for that. Good business or not, it is not worth it. There are 131 other division one schools in the world we can go find and play. In recent years we have been to Wisconsin, Ohio State, Penn St, etc... We can and have scheduled with top 10 national programs and played games, partially for exposure, partially for money and we do not need one of those schools to be Oregon.
