Oliver Luck would be a good interim commissioner. He actually would be good for a permanent one if he would want the job. Although if there is a reverse merger with the MWC, the current MWC president would be in line for the job Interesting. What has Luck done since hired by the PAC 2 that is having positive impacts? you won't find out what he has done until things clear up. Also, he wouldn't have a consultant job right now if he wasn't helping. Things are being kept quiet.

Interesting. What has Luck done since hired by the PAC 2 that is having positive impacts? You won't know how he did until things clear up. If he wasn't doing anything then he wouldn't still have a job as consultant Ah, I see. Because the P2 Presidents are so on the ball they would know. Like the tight reign they kept on Larry Scott. Yep. Might as well give him the job!

He is a consultant not a commissioner. You really think they hired him and told him to do whatever he wants and don't let them know. Also do you really think the Pac 2 really cares if you or anyone think you're entitled to know what an employee is doing to help. They could care less

And, Schultz had one vote of twelve since his arrival. Meaning Murthi had zero input on either commish.

Today is 9/11. Never forget. Today is also the day that a judge makes a ruling that one way or another we will never forget.

Probably need to clear up who is legally in charge before GK gets the iron boot. Can't see him keeping his job when the chairman says don't do something and he does it anyway. His "advisor" who delivered the mssg. back to the chairman should be putting books in his britches too.

Oops. My wife would be ashamed. Equestrians too! Equestrians shouldn't have a vote as they spend most of their money on a process that converts cash (hay) into horse poop...

Yes, George Kliavkoff called together a board of directors meeting with 9 or 10 schools of the PAC-12, not the remaining 2 members. If this meeting takes place, the schools could vote to dissolve the conference, enabling the assets to be split evenly by all 12 schools and Kliavkoff pocketing the remaining two years of his contract, worth $7M. As PAC-12 commissioner, Kliavkoff should be acting for the wellbeing of the conference. That includes preservation. The PAC-12 board of directors has not told him to do otherwise. It sure seems like Kliavkoff's behavior provides sufficient grounds for termination with cause, costing Kliavkoff the last two years of his contract. He has no one to blame but himself for this. I have serious concerns about Kliavkoff's character. I have a question that I'm too lazy to try to pursue the answer to. Wondering if anybody knows: As conference Commissioner does Kliavkoff have a fiduciary duty to the conference? Or is he just a hired hand? I believe that George K. has a fiduciary duty to the universities that comprise the Pac-12, not to the Pac-12 itself.
