Hang on, help me out. And sorry if this has already been discussed. If the remaining so called 9 or 10 schools can still vote, then they can vote to dissolve the conference. If they are able to dissolve the conference, divide up the assets, then doesn't that mean George Kliavkoff gets paid for the final 2 years of his contract? If only the Beavers and Cougars are on the board of directors, then isn't George Kliavkoff at risk of being fired "with cause" and then he doesn't get the balance of his contract? Seems like we have a conflict of interest here. George Kliavkoff is going to want to act in any way necessary to preserve the last 2 years of his contract. I bet his contract has a clause in it for the early demise of the Pac 12. Plus, I sort of think that the kind of guy that gets hired to administer a conference can find another job pretty easily, especially if a bunch of schools are indebted to him for saving their money.

Based on what? The fiduciary intelligence and foresight of Larry Scott?

He just said that one of the things they wanted to meet for was to amend the bylaws to allow the 10 departing schools to retain voting rights. That just seems crazy to me.

Pac-12 lawyer is not a very good speaker... strange long pauses.
Main argument is about Pac-12 employees... Wednesday meeting must go on so that can approve some agreement for the employees... My argument would be, thats fine, we will have the Wednesday meeting, you all are just not invited.
Really though it all boils down to what intent of leaving means, and how it is defined.
