Well, the SEC has been consistently better than the PAC 12 in basketball. It certainly has. But that wasn't Skullcap's statement. He said the SEC was the best men's basketball conference. In this century, it hasn't been. Not even close. Do you always just make BS up?? I said they were the best overall conference in all three major sports... And they are. PERIOD! Hate them all you want... but, as of now they run the college sports landscape for a reason. If they weren't so good their TV revenues wouldn't be where the are. A better Pac12 would mean multiple big time networks fighting for a TV deal. But, alas the Pac12 is about the 4th most important conference in those discussions. I wonder the reason?? You came back with the elementary comments... this team(s) did this blah blah blah... national championships... as if they are the only measure of a conferences strength. CONFERENCE, top to bottom in all three sports overall there is no comparison. Talk about a guy who constantly changes the target to suit his own need to "win". WTF that means on a message board only your imbecilic mind can define!? LOL

Again, "being the best overall conference in all three major sports" means they are No. 1 in football, No 1 in baseball, and No. 1 in men's basketball. Quoting you exactly. Not changing the target at all.
They are in # 1 and #2. They are not in #3. Not even close.
Their TV revenues are huge because of football. Not baseball. Not men's basketball.
The Pac-12 isn't part of this discussion. Not even sure why you brought it up.
And yes, most people consider the total number of national championships a pretty good measure of a conference's strength. The SEC is considered the best in football and baseball because multiple teams have won titles.
Five ACC teams won NCAA titles since 2000. Tells me they play great basketball in that league.
You are simply unable to admit you're wrong. The Kari Lake of our board.

You are simply unable to admit you're wrong. The Kari Lake of our board. Again, A new target. You stated, "He said the SEC was the best men's basketball conference." I did not! You tend to invent BS to try to prove?? Who knows what. My initial post stated best "overall" conference. You think your definition is the ONLY one that matters, but most intelligent folks realize "best overall" does not mean or even imply that they #1 in each sport. Just as the best overall car manufacturer does not have the #1 seller/highest rated/etc. vehicle in every category... etc. Best overall is just that, overall... individual parts taken as a whole for the sake of a discussion. Otherwise an intelligent person might have said something like, "the SEC is the best/#1 in all three major sports." But, of course this intelligent person did not. Unfortunately, you being the "Karen" of this board think you're one of the smartest guys in the room and your opinion is the only one that matters. Surprise! Hmmmm... Pac12 is not a part because what? They are not a conference? They would not be part of the discussion of top rated conferences? LOL... Look in the mirror, the only wrong not being admitted to is your interpretation of "overall" and the additional attempts to keep digging a hole based on that fallacy. "Karen" on...

The Kari Lake of our board.Flagged! and to think a simple Rolovich case comment on the Rotating Tap spurred a discussion about what is political and what is not - SMH I would push back on your Kari Lake comment, but that would be two wrongs do not make a right!

three thoughts -
1) Who is Kari Lake? some duck I'm unaware of?
2) The irony is great for Baseball/Steve/George to suggest someone else thinks they are one of the smartest guys in the room
3) two wrongs do not make a right, but remember, three rights make a left
