I may get flamed for this but you reap what you sew. There were a lot of wins that the Beavs left on the table this year. I am glad to made the post-season. Now the work starts. The road to Omaha will be a tough one no doubt but it is the hand we were dealt. Play good ball and advance is all we can do now. Go Beavs. sow Thank you for correcting me on that.

Nice to see Kyle call out the committee. West coast got screwed. Irvine and Santa Barbara both should have got in. USC and ASU both have arguments too. Indiana State hosting is a joke. would have loved to see Maryland, W Virginia, Campbell, and B College get a chance at hosting.

Does the selection committee disclose their process? Is it simply a matter of a final ranking 1-64 and then those ranked 17-32 are 2 seeds and matched inversely with the top 16 seeds (e.g., 1 v 32, 2 v 31, etc)? Or do other factors come into play? For the conspiracy dudes, feel free to comment … but I am legitimately curious about the process. Thanks. They do not place teams 1-64 - as evidenced by our being with the #5 overall.

Meh......you don't host, you say a lil prayer and just go play ball.....see what happens. Honestly, I'm not very optimistic based on the tourney. Very interested to see how our pitching responds to getting lit up. Oregon State pitchers have looked great outside of Arizona. As long as Oregon State does not randomly wind up there in a Super, it's clear sailing.......... I wish I shared your optimism.....I believe the last away regional we won was '07, correct?

Not being argumentative… but that would have us at #28… which may be lower than the average ranking but not far off from our RPI, right? Maybe I am just seeking something objective to counter my own increasingly skeptical and jaded perspective:)

Screw the Mountain West, the West Coast and the Northeast. 4. If at all possible make sure to have an all-California regional with the champ of the Pac-12, WCC, MWC and Big West. 5. See # 1. 6. See # 2.

so what happens if each side of a super regional, both regional hosts lose there regional? Who hosts the SR? Highest remaining seed, if they bid for a regional.

Since LSU's field is dirt and grass, and thundershowers are forecasted Sat through Tues, could be a short rest between this regional and the next. Good problem to have I guess if you are the winner - less rest for arms. Pretty funny to see fans on Tiger Droppings complaining that the only teams that have artificial turf and no dirt are just poorer, and can't afford the real thing . Uh, no, sometimes when your field is in an area of the country where rainfall is real and regular in the spring, you just need to have artificial turf and ground rubber instead, or have lot's of cancelled/ postponed games.

Well, the Pac-12 tournament got Arizona in. They probably knocked out ASU.
I told you they wouldn't knock out an SEC, ACC or Big 12 team if a rando Pac-12 team played its way into a bid.
Oklahoma being in is a frigging joke.
