All they will do is bump another Pac-12 team out, probably ASU. No way the NCAA is going to bump the No. 10 SEC or No. 8 ACC or No. 6 Big 12 team for a Pac-12 team.
All Arizona winning would accomplish is rewarding a team that went 12-18 in conference during the regular season. They did not merit a mulligan but they got one.

This is crazy. Quinn Mathews is already over 50 pitches, and there is yet to be an out in the second inning. Apparently that state of Arizona is where pitching goes to die.
And Quinn can't make it through two innings. Pac-12 pitcher of the year, yikes.

Stanford doesn’t look like a Champion tonight, that’s for sure.

Could these last two games knock Stanford out of the top 8 seeds?

Stanford should've taken the Ducks a little more seriously yesterday.

A championship between #6 and #8. The baseball world is behind ya Arizona.

Could these last two games knock Stanford out of the top 8 seeds? I don't think the conference tourneys mean much. At least in terms of seeding. The hay is in the barn.

A championship between #6 and #8. The baseball world is behind ya Arizona. Actually, most everyone outside of the Pac-12 is probably rooting for Oregon, because it frees up an at large. It would be insane for Arizona to win, though, and for the Pac-12 to get seven in! Pac-12 Conference Tournament!

The 2014 change in the baseball has changed the game as noted in other posts. Andy Lopez built his national championship team on speed and players who could take advantage of the rock hard infield at the old Arizona field. Plus a couple of heavy hitters as well. This Arizona team is built for power obviously.

In true PAC-12 Tourney "Championship" Game form, tonight's starting pitchers are both north of 6.50 ERA and 1.70 Whip on the 2023 season.
UA, at least he's in their normal weekend starting rotation (Sunday's): Aiden May.
ducks: spot starter, Turner Spoljaric
