In true PAC-12 Tourney " Championship" Game form, tonight's starting pitchers are both north of 6.50 ERA and 1.70 Whip on the 2023 season. UA, at least he's in their normal weekend starting rotation (Sunday's): Aiden May. ducks: spot starter, Turner Spoljaric Well, I, for one, hope Spoljaric is sporadic. |

Turner Spoljaric was the first reliever in in the Easter Game and in the midweek game.
In the Easter Game, he gave up singles to Bazzana and Forrester in the second and then gave up a McDowell sacrifice to bring home Bazzana. Kasper homered in the third, and Dallas started the fourth.
In the midweek game, he gave up the Guerra homers in the fourth and sixth but otherwise kept Oregon State in check. But the hay was already in the barn by that point with Oregon State scoring nine runs in the first 2 2/3.

If it wasn't for this stupid tournament format, Stanford would have used their closer two nights ago and we wouldn't have to witness this nightmare.

Give the ducks some credit they gave up 12 runs in 3 games. We gave up 27 in 2.

Ohhhh snap. One can only hope this isn't the beginning of the Ducks running the Pac in another sport. softball won 5 straight pac titles and never won the big one. When they win it all then I'll get a therapy pet and take unpaid leave. |
