Leaving 7 on base the last 3 frames is a hitting problem. That pitcher at the end for Zona had a .327 BA against number.

Bone head coaching by the OSU staff. You bunt, score a run and advance Forrester to 2nd. I don't think expecting your #3 and #4 hitters to put a ball in play to score the runner from 3rd is a bad coaching move. I didn't like squeezing there, because it still was likely going to take more than 1 run to win that game. I see your point. I’m thinking scoring at least one run changes the dynamics of bottom of 9. Plus with Garret on second ( eliminating the double play,) Mason and Mikey have the opportunity to drive in another run. One in the hand is better than two in the bush. |

Yeah this team isn’t winning another game.
Team is too inconsistent and too f%#*ing young with too many f%#*ing blunders by the coaches
And to think we coulda had a College World Series title last year. Smh. Another golden opportunity lost as per usual for this post Casey program…

I mean, Casey's programs blew their share of opportunities too - it's baseball. |

Mason and Mikey still had an opportunity and they K'd. That can't happen in that situation. |

Arizona hitters pulling a Cliff Harris. in a 12-13 game i would say neither teams pitchers were effective and both teams hitters were True that... except. One team has an actual effective (normally) pitching staff that FAR under performed. |

Benny'sHouse posters lost this game straight up. I forgot about the game (I know, big fan). I scroll through the posts. I see three scores. 4-0, 4-2, and 12-12. I know we can't all be messi, but how hard is it to say "6-3 Beavers at the end of 5" for example. Lots of posts about Turley being back (what does that mean? Not way out in front of an offspeed pitch?). Posts about how stupid our coaches are. Posts and arguments about do we advance with a 1-1 record in a leap year. But nobody can give a status update? Quit blaming the players and coaches when it is the posters who angered the baseball gods.

I hated this tournament last year, when we took second. I hate it this year, win or lose.
We take second in a 30-game season. Our reward is to fly 1500 miles, play two games in 90-degree weather against teams who are virtually playing at home, and then play the first game as the road team, despite a higher seed.
What a load of horse crap.
