It snowed last year on April 13th. Oregon State played Long Beach State in a three-game set starting the next day. It was 24 degrees on March 11th of last year. Oregon State played Oregon in a three-game set starting the next day. La Niña in 2022. The lows on Saturday and Sunday, during the 2019 West Virginia series were 28, but the games both games played with temperatures in the 40s and low 50s. It got colder after that, but the next weekend were the three games at T-Mobile Park. Spring Break 2012 started like this: It snowed 5.3 inches from March 21-22, 2012, and Oregon State played a three-game set with Arizona starting the next day. March 2012 was the wettest March ever in Western Oregon and the month also exhibited below-average temperatures (3.5 degrees below normal in Corvallis). 2012 was also a La Niña year. It snowed on March 17, 2002. Oregon State and Washington State played at Goss without incident. I believe that the answer is 1994. The season opener was in Corvallis on February 22nd. 15 inches of snow fell in the 96 hours before the game, and it was snowed out. I talked to a wildlife biologist from eastern OR within the last couple years, and he said some of the mule deer herds over there still haven't recovered from the 93-94 winter. The weather from 1992-1994 was very cold and windy in the continental United States, which seems to have something to do with the Mount Pinatubo Eruption. The winter of 1993-1994 was the third-coldest ever in the Northeastern United States.

Earlier that month, I launched the drift boat on a coastal river just before sunrise. While waiting on anchor for a little more daylight to head down river, we were covered with a few inches of snow. Couldn't find our gear or the whisky under the snow and it kept coming. Rod tips also iced up regularly. That was a memorable day.

Triggered by MLB starting a week earlier and losing Surprise stadium. I thought they were onto something with the Grand Canyon relationship. I'd imagine warm weather schools are not inclined to bring the formidable Beavs in for an early series that they could get beaten up in. I don't remember home games this early at Goss. Probably a Barnes/Canham test drive that will not go around the block more than once. I really missed the 8 games in 10 days Surprise. That made it truly worth it to travel down there.

why no Mike Parker on the broadcast? Hoops is tomorrow He doesn't do baseball until men's basketball is totally over. It's been like that for almost 20 years.
