I know it's what you're supposed to do but I got a laugh out of Rueck telling TVO to slow it down at the end of the third to set up a shot when trailing by 21. Seems fitting.

Obviously UW can coast at this point, but I still think the last 5 of Timea, Raegan, AJ, Talia, and Bendu is probably our best 5.

Have you noticed that with 4 min left in the game and in desperation mode they are fighting back. they have abandoned the slower game and have speeded it up. should have been doing this in the beginning. JMO

Has Yeaney fouled out or something? Why do you not have her in the game when you're going to a press?

For those that think this year is an anomaly. Starting with 2014-15 year the pac12 record was 16-2, 16-2, 16-2, 14-4, 14-4, 10-8, 7-6, 6-9, and this year not including today 2-5. Anybody see a trend? A couple of reasons for the decline are imo, our period of elite success was when the other conference programs were down relative to where they are now, and the past few years transfers have become much more important in college basketball and OSU has generally been a net loser in this area. Oversimplified. Arizona St., Cal and Washington were all MUCH better when OSU was winning the conference than they are now. Stanford has re-emerged as a beast, but throughout the conference there has been some reshuffling of the deck. To say everybody is better now couldn't possibly be further from the truth.

I will bet rueck doesn't think he needs to change a thing. Reminds of Saban. Both Rueck and Saban had been very successful with their conservative offensive philosophies. Difference being Saban saw the changes in the game coming and got out in front of it by transitioning from a conservative game management style to a wide-open aggressive offense. From what I can see Rueck has not adapted. The great leaders/coaches adapt, those who don't end up stuck in the past.

I will bet rueck doesn't think he needs to change a thing. As least he had them ramp up the pressure. Obviously too little and too late, but a good sign that they didn’t hang it up.

Getting to the final four has little to do with the conference quality. We are far behind what we used to be, regardless of the conference changes.

Of course, I didn't say everyone is better now. But go ahead and oversimplify it.

Sadly, without very significant changes, I only see 1 more win the rest of the way for OSU in the regular season (ASU). Not good.

And I wouldn't count on the Beavers winning any specific game right now. They probably will win a couple, but it's looking really bad. And any significant changes in the offseason aren't going to be positive.
